Love SC Gas Prices Due to a different tax structure, gas in SC is some of the lowest in the nation. Had lunch down the street and filled up while I was here and made use of their inside facilities. Clean, well organized and generally very friendly people.Regular was $2.079 as compared to $2.43 here in Cornelius. Just over the border (the pin is in the wrong place), this QuikTrip has a very wide pump area and plenty of room for navigating. And because it's in SC, the gas is cheap cheap cheap because the South Carolina gas tax is 18 cents less than North Carolina. Probably not worth a special drive to save ($2.70 saved for 15 gallons), but if you're headed nearby then it's worth it. Lots of pumps and wide lanes. Getting out can be a nightmare. I wonder how many accidents they have had in their parking lot / gassing area. The exit is also usually very busy and is greatly slowed by the MORONS turning left that are way over to the right. Suggestion to QuikTrip... throw down some paint showing a left turn lane and a right turn lane. The staff is very friendly. Almost "Chick-Fil-A" like but not quite there yet. I have used Scott Harmon two times now. Over a year ago I contracted for him to trim my trees and whip them in to shape. He gave me a quote, which I accepted, and he and his team came and did the work. I did not ask for bushes to be trimmed and/or shaped, but he added that detail. It was not part of the work initially contracted for. Just yesterday, I needed to have almost all my trees in the back yard removed. I called on him again, and he came, gave me a "very" fair estimate, and we spit and shook hands. He called me that same evening, and said he could be out the next morning. I said okay. His window was between 9:00 and 11:00. He and his crew were there "before" 9:00 am. Scott and his team are a class act. To Drew E., there must have been some very real issues that he did not contact you. Forgive him. He is the best. As long as I have a home and need someone to cater to my "tree", now that the rest are gone, Scott will be my go to person. This has always been my go to for gas, snacks, and a sweet treat for my grandson. I now will have 2nd thoughts.: scenario: store packed as it is lunch time. I walk in looking for wipes or sanitizer at door (nothing). We go to order at the screen (many have touched) no sanitizer in sight. I go to pay and asked the young cashier if he had wipes or sanitizer, he said no! I told him with all these folks in store ordering food and touching the order screen and door etc . They should have something to make sure folks are sanitizing prior & after touching things. The young female cashier heard and pulled a bottle from under the counter.
