Ate here thinking it was a home style place. It is a gas station with 8 tables. Food was ok, coffee was adequate. Not high class or even middle class. You better be hungry

EVERYTHING was on point at this 'mom and pops'. If you don't try it~ you're missing out.

Great spot for breakfast or lunch that isn't fast food. Places to sit inside as well.

Don't listen to the dumbass who previously posted. Great omelets and the best bacon egg and cheese biscuits.

Aesthetic: Chill waffle, biscuit and grits spot…read more What to try: Make your own waffle or biscuit! Service: Attentive Parking: Limited Rating: 5/5, The food is excellent. We loved the make your own waffle and biscuit options. My husband made his cornbread waffle with fried chicken, eggs, pimiento and bacon jam, and I made my biscuit with fried chicken, eggs, arugula, gravy, and pecan crumble. Both were delicious, I can't wait to go back and try another combo. However, they are massive so definitely shareable if you just do one or take half home for dinner. The portions are truly generous!

I'll admit it. I lowered my expectations when I walked in. The restaurant has more of a dive feel…read morethan I expected. It's small, you order cafeteria style before being seated, you seat yourself, and it can get a little noisy. We visited on a Sunday around 2:10 p.m., and there were still plenty of tables available. Then I tasted the food. The menu is built around customization. You can build your own waffle by choosing your waffle, meat, toppings, and sauce. Or build your own biscuit or grit bowl the same way. There are enough combinations that you could come back several times and order something different each visit. I ordered the Chicken and Red Velvet Waffle. It comes with crispy fried chicken, a red velvet waffle, cream cheese drizzle, syrup, and cinnamon butter. The chicken was crispy and juicy, although a few bites were a little salty. Not every bite, and the syrup balanced it out nicely. The cinnamon butter was a nice touch. However the waffles literally disintegrated under the chi My daughter ordered the Crab Cake Benedict Biscuit, and we shared it. It comes with a crab cake, sunny side up eggs, arugula, spinach, and hollandaise on a flaky biscuit. We also shared an order of Crispy Brussels Sprouts. Both were delicious, and the portions were generous enough that we still had leftovers to take home. One thing I liked was the variety of toppings and sauces. I had never heard of bacon jam before seeing it on the menu. If you like to customize your food, you'll have fun here. I came in expecting average and left planning my next visit. Must order: Crab Cake Benedict Biscuit, and the Crispy Brussels Sprouts. Tip: Don't skip the build-your-own options. There are enough combinations to create something every body likes.
