The food menu is all fried food (reason for 4 stars). However, the star is the ice cream novelties. They have items called shake-n-mores which is like their version of a blizzard or concrete. They have DOLE whips in different flavors which you cannot find fresh outside of Florida! They have sweets for all as some items are vegan, gluten free and sugar free. Grab one of their ice cream pies for your next event. They are a family owned - woman ran business and everyone was so nice and polite. If you have a little assistance you can make this place pretty accessible. The only concern was that there was not a diaper changing station. They only have outdoor seating so you may have to take your treats and eats to go. But it is great they are open all year round. We then go inside and are told to wait to the side. We stand there and then wait for another 25 minutes. We ask for the status of our order. We are told it is being made - and to wait. More time passes and we ask again - and then are told "we don't see your order". We have the doordash app pulled up, with the correct location and still waiting to be received. They check again and tell us " oh... well your order was picked up by someone else" and shrugged like we were supposed to be okay with that and just leave. When we asked if they'd remake the order because we've paid, the cashier goes to get the manager. He comes back and says "my manager is really stressed today so...". They were not re-willing to make the order. We decided to leave and had to go through so many hoops to get our refund. The employees and manager of this Wendy's are frankly incompetent at their jobs. Literally my first yelp ever cause I normally never care about stuff like this. But this almost ruined my partner and I's staycation experience.
