My husband and I came to Casey, IL on our way home from St. Louis to see all of the world's largest things they have in town; but when I saw a HARRY POTTER-themed locally owned coffee shop, I just had to stop in and try it! Even the menu had original coffee recipes dedicated to each of the Harry Potter houses. I'm not sure if this coffee shop was originally Harry Potter-themed or if it was only for a limited time, but the first thing I noticed when we walked in was how cute and cool all of the decor was. Service-wise, the baristas were personable and so fun. I wouldn't shut up about how cool the shop was, and they appreciated it and asked where we were from and what made us stop in their small town. We talked for a while, and I ended up ordering The Chocolate Frog under the Ravenclaw house. I got my drink fast and the barista told me to crack my cup when I was ready to drink it because of the crackling chocolate on the cup. When I was served my drink, they didn't put the lid on it because customers do it themselves in case they want to put anything extra inside. However, my husband and I both tried to put a lid on the drink and couldn't get it, so we had to ask one of the baristas to do it. She explained a trick she uses to easily get them on, and we were on our way. Seriously, such nice people working here! The latte was absolutely to die for. It was smooth, flavorful, and absolutely amazing, so it makes me very sad that I won't be able to have it again for a long time, if ever again. They need to open this place by me in Chicago or the suburbs! read more

Super cute coffee shop! All the staff members were friendly and helpful. My college roommate's infant son spilled one of her coffee flight cups and the staff members were kind enough to replace the one that was spilled. The coffee flight is a fun idea. There were three of us and each of us had a different favorite from the flight. The flight is a great way to try all the seasonal drinks. The flights change monthly, but I don't live anywhere close to it to go all the time. read more

Such an adorable 'gram worthy coffee shop! After having a super disappointing lunch (elsewhere!) in Casey I happened across this coffee shop and got a medium sunrise lotus drink. We stopped by after looking at the Big Things in town. I saw on their Facebook they had a specific "spring" drink menu. I walked in and nobody said hello, I wasn't sure which end of the counter I was to go up to because no worker welcomed me and stood at the counter. (But read pick up so went to the other one). I asked if they had the specific drink and the young man just said "yup". He lacked emotion like he didn't want to be there. We stopped here for some iced drinks on a warm Saturday. What a gem! I honestly did not expect such a cute, " Instagram-able" coffee shop in this tiny town. If you're traveling on 74, this is literally 5min south of the highway and if the shop is open - you're going to want to stop! Out group ordered an iced coffee, iced Americano, peach Italian soda and an unsweetened iced tea - and it wasn't even $12! Everyone loved their drinks and the employees could not have been any nicer. They also had super clean bathrooms which was the icing on the cake. The patrons in the coffee shop ranged from a group of teen girls to a young family with a baby to an older couple... so truly a shop for everyone. This is the best small town coffee shop! Out of town people don't understand how small our community is and how the majority of us are getting vaxxed so we don't require masks.
