It's down the street from my house so it's quite convenient. The staff is friendly (say hello when you walk in) and they have a multitude of drinks and snacks. The only improvement suggested is a Samsung/Apple/Google pay option at the pump. Other gas stations do and makes it much faster. Plus, it's important to have this type of transaction especially now, as it's a great touch less payment feature. Other than that, a good place to gas up in a well situated area of midtown Omaha. Stopped here while going through Omaha. The bathroom was needing to be cleaned - as well as most of the drink area. Felt that the store needed a major update. Roller food was absolutely gross. It may have been the worst hot dog I have ever eaten. Would not recommend any food from here. read more

I always try to hit up a QT when traveling since there is none in the Chicago area. To be honest, it's pretty hard to find a bad QT in my experience. This QT was no different. The truth is my biggest fascination with QT is its donuts. This location didn't fail me, it has the freshest chocolate long john donuts and a wonderful Amaretto cappuccino to go with it. The store was neat and clean. The clerk was personable and friendly which I find also pretty consistent in QT's across the country. Bottom line is when you are in the area, stop by and grab a donut. All is ask is that you save one for me. read more

QT never ceases to amaze me with their selection of... everything. I was impressed with the number of unsweetened fresh teas they had. The reason for my review, however, was that an employee by the name of Lydia A. was giving amazing customer service. She handled multiple lines at nearly the same time while smiling, being attentive, and greeting everyone who came and went - without breaking a sweat! I know it's a chain gas station. Im going to review this because I am pissed. But coming in and being treated like a damn criminal really makes you mad. The card readers at the pumps were down so I had to go inside. Long line of people and it took a bit to get to the counter. Something was wrong where they could only take Credit cards. I was sorting through my cards and handed my card to the cashier. He looked at me and said now I need your id. I did not have my drivers license on me and tried to give him my state license card or another trade license card I had with my pic on it. He would not accept either. I got mad and asked him why the 7 other people in front of me he didnt ask for their id. But he chose me. What makes me different. He said it was for my own protection. O so you care about me but not the other customers ?? Seriously had a stack of id on my just not my Nebraska Drivers license. Not sure what this jerk's problem was but Ill for sure never visit this QT Again, As I look back and think of this one compared the other Omaha spots this one has gone downhill over the last 2 years. In a world full of gas stations, stores, and fast food joints where no one greets you at all upon your arrival, it is always a positive breath of fresh air to walk into a QT gas station and see the cashier greeting you and everyone else who walks in the door. It has always amazed me that more companies don't key in on this free and easy-to-do service for their clients who are choosing to come there and spend their money. QT employees also bid you farewell with a nice "Enjoy the rest of your day!", or something similarly kind. These cashiers are also some of the fastest and most competent I have witnessed, as they burn thru the lines of customers to get them out the door and on with their lives. It is also not uncommon to see one cashier running two registers, serving two lines of customers in unison! The gasoline at QT is, according to the research my husband has done, of good quality, and the pumps always work well, which is more than I can say for a local chain of stations I used to frequent (40th & Dodge. Pumps never work right. One hose was actually dripping gasoline onto my clothes from above about a month ago). Bravo, QT Employees. Thank you for your politeness and speed :-) read more

You know, I definitely prefer other nearby gas stations and convenience stores, but QT is super close to my house and always a good pit stop when I need a cheap, unhealthy snack. And I can honestly say the hot dogs here aren't half bad, especially with the little toppings bar featuring sliced pickles, jalapenos, neon green relish and even pico de gayo. For $1.39 (or 2 for $2.22), it's worth it every now and again. Add in a giant soda (they have fountain Gatorade!) for under a $1 and I'm all in. That all said, if you stray from the QT items -- food, soda, etc. -- most everything else is actually pricier here than elsewhere. read more

Every time that I go into this store, its an adventure. I, somehow, got myself into the habita where, whenever I see a QT, i need to stop and buy myself a 44oz Iced Tea. I think that my sleep issues can be tied back to the fact that I drink too much iced tea. I love going into this store. You are always greeted by, at least one overly caffeinated employee and the store is always clean. The customers are what make the experience the best. The other day, on a tea run, I was standing in line waiting to pay and a woman walked in and grabbed some food of the spinning food heater. I've been around the block and I know that gas station food isn't going to be great. I don't think this woman got the message. After she bit into the food that she just picked up, she screamed out "this sh*t is f*cking cold". and promptly threw it away and walked out (without paying). The store staff didn't flinch. They looked up and went back to work as normal. I like going to stores that place an emphasis on customer service. When I'm looking to fill up my tank or get something to drink, I'll search out a Quick Trip. read more

Quick review for Quik Trip: It's a really good gas station / convenience store. The best slushies, large selection, including caffeinated ones. Large range of snacks including fresh fruit. Always a good option for snacks and drinks on the road. read more

It's a Quik Trip and a corporate mega gas store and while I hate them-we don't have too many options anymore. This place has been here quite a long time and I have honestly never had an issue with service here at anytime of the day, night, late night or early morning. It's pretty consistent. If you have to go a mega-box-gas station the Quik Trip brand seems to be the best in town of the four or five other major chains and this one is the best of that bunch. read more

Don't bother with this company. They refuse to allow the use of legal tender like debit cards on certain items. Willful violation of the law, if you accept a form of payment it must apply to all you offer you don't get to pick and choose. Time to boycott this place! read more

After swinging by here on a whim and a need for a quick snack, I was convinced to try a free sample of a pretzel with cheese by a manager. It was fire meets heaven and the clouds parted and I heard angels singing, or maybe I was just hungry. It hit the spot with the right balance of soft and chewy, salty and buttery, et al. In an unprecedented second trip to QT just days later (1-13-2015) I returned to actually pay money for a whole pretzel. This time I also went for a drink and was confused by the 28472 different lid types of different colors when I only saw 3 cup sizes there (?!?) Perhaps there was a grid / secret decoding ring / cup-lid seating chart I missed somewhere, just seems like a coke shouldn't be that hard. I was not greeted by any of the FOUR employees and one possibly manager looking type, including the one behind the sign that said 'touch screen to order or just ask us!' I was super sick and didn't want to share my germs, but she seriously could have cared less I was there. I didn't even feel welcome to ask her if I wanted a mix of the two sauces if I still had to pay extra. Wow, she must be super good at her job if she's too focused to pay attention to customers. Wrong. While waiting for my pretzel, I realized she kept the same gloves on while she touched 18+ different surfaces, including the trash can, her hair, her face, other food items, etc. Doesn't the Health Department teach you there's no point in wearing gloves if you're doing that?! I was in no condition to argue, still feeling under the weather after a SUPER long wait for a damn pretzel, so I took it, paid, and left (after some serious confusion among THREE staff members as to who was ringing me up - seriously I don't care, just get me out of here. I return to the warmth and lack of chaos of my car only to find the cheese and garlic sauces were two totally different things, the garlic was this hydrogenated oily nastiness that wouldn't even stick to the pretzel, and the pretzel was hot, but raw and doughy inside. FAILURE! If I'd had the energy I'd have gone back inside and asked for a refund but I doubted the crew inside would have known what to do. I took it as a loss and won't bother trying again. read more
