And my rent increase was up more than $150 from last year. That's crazy, especially since things are getting worse. Horrible.

We ended up having to move out 2 days before our wedding in the beginning of December. The next day I could not get my mail or anything from the building. Management did not communicate with us regarding turnover. Management then got rid of all of our personal belongings in our garage, including family heirlooms, family pictures, furniture( one of which was my great grandmothers that she crocheted the backing and pedal stool), tools, motocross bikes etc. When reaching out to Lori who works at Haven she told us "it wasn't her problem and she doesn't have time for this". She also stated, " you should have paid $7000 to break your lease ‍ not my problem". I would NOT recommend moving here as the management is unprofessional and inconsiderate! They do not care about the individuals living in the apartment or those moving out. All they care about is their bottom line! A simple phone call regarding turnover, property removal, etc. could be the difference between generations of memories wrongfully disposed ! DO NOT MOVE HERE. Their google review has been skewed as since my post they had asked 16 people post positive remarks regarding staff and management instead of reaching out to us regarding their wrongful disposal of our personal belongings... pretty desperate if you ask me.

They advertise amenities. Two pools. There is now one small one, that if you didn't get a pool pass right away, you can't go to the pool. false advertising? Then they had a trash compactor, its gone, and have these three huge dumpsters. Let me tell you. If you have a issue with your arm at any age, or if you are short like myself, you will not be able to swing a bag of garbage up to the top of the dumpster. Now I'm suppose to renew my lease. Alway got a letter in the mail for renewal. Have gotten nothing. Now I have to go to the club house and find out how to find my renewal form. You call the main number, and you can't get anyone because the voicemail is full. Maintenance is another issue. No one will come. Just to let you know. The home theater room in the clubhouse does not have working equipment meaning it is just a room that nobody can use unless you want to sit and stare at a wall. The gated community seldom has gates that close. The miles of walking paths are missing many of the lamp poles and about a third of the lamp poles that are left standing have burned out lamps plunging the community into darkness. There is def nothing "resort style" about the complex.
