We were greeted I Immediately upon entering the building and didn't even need to pull up our tickets, we just needed to confirm our last name and row. They have two sets of restrooms which makes it easier for guests that might have to step out for a minute to use them. Plenty of parking behind the bank and also a municipal lot next to that. Parking on the street is free after 8PM. We saw Mike Miller a local magician from Philadelphia, lots of wows and laughs. Worth every penny!

We loved this converted silent movie hall that has been open for four years now but has been standing for many decades. The venue has a mish mash of seating with folding chairs, couches, office chairs, and some plastic new wave stuff. Everything is general seating so if you get there early you can snag one of the more comfortable chairs. Even though they are in the back, you can clearly see and hear perfectly. The owners also shelled out monies to build a balcony which has some hightop chairs and more comfortable office chairs around some tables. The closest seats to the stage have small round tables. The lighting was fun colors of strobe lights and a little bit of disco. There is also a stand with sodas and small snacks but they provide free (yes, it's free) popcorn. Salty, and you'll probably then want to buy a $2 soda. All staff were quite friendly. Check-in was a breeze as they had all names and you just showed your tickets. A bonus with your ticket is the 10% off your food at the Mexican restaurant almost next door. We were lucky to snag a street parking spot but you can park at the train station. My wife and I had a great time and loved the Fallser Club. Ticket prices for this show were only $20 each ($25 at the door) and there were about 130 at the show for a main guest who has performed all over the world. Great value. We'll be checking out what other shows may be coming around.

Both the venue and the talent are something special. Entrance to the show was only $20 and they offered $2 tickets for disabled individuals. When you enter you will find unique word art, velvet curtains, and the smell of complementary fresh movie theater style pop corn. There was a bar stocked with Vismos and some delicious canned cocktails by Top Dog. The Blood Orange Margarita was amazing! Cocktails were also very reasonably priced, 3 drinks totaled $24. The seating is mixed with comfy couches, chairs, loungers along with cocktail tables in front of the stage. We opted to use the upstairs area as we had a large party and enjoyed mingling between sets. The upstairs is not handicap accessible so plan to hang out on the first floor and enjoy the up close entertainment views of stairs are an issue. It was interesting to hear about the other events being hosted like a hackathon and a women's healthcare forum. This business is very blue which made me love it even more. It's important to know that there is only street parking available so leave time to find a spot. Parking was free which was great! You do need to parallel park so be prepared if you aren't used to doing that. Fallser guests are also offered a 10% discount on food before or after the show at an amazing Mexican eatery Nextdoor called Cresta. I 100% recommend you take advantage of this. Heir rooftop bar is amazing! I love the community feel and the way the businesses on the street supported each other. I really am looking forward to seeing more shows and events at this very special venue.

Fun experience, but definitely on the pricey side for the amount of actual racing you get…read more F1 Arcade is a pretty cool F1 racing simulation where you get to drive an F1-style race car on various real F1 tracks. The simulators do a good job of making you feel like you're actually racing--the seat moves and rumbles as you go around the track, accelerate, brake, and presumably make questionable racing decisions. One warning: if you get motion sickness easily, this might not be the activity for you. Between the moving seat and the racing visuals, your brain may start wondering why your body is sitting still while your car is doing 200 mph. The place itself is huge, with 40+ simulators. We went on a Saturday afternoon and were surprised by how empty it was. They also have a bar and serve food, but we were there strictly for the racing. We had a party of 4, so we did the team racing option and were given two simulators. Each of us got three races, and the system paired us up differently for each race, so everyone got a chance to race against everyone else. That part was actually pretty fun and made it feel more competitive. The downside is that the races are REALLY short--about 3 minutes each. So for roughly $30 per person, we each got only about 10 minutes of actual racing time across the three races. Once you factor in getting everyone set up and waiting between races, our entire visit was under an hour. The staff was friendly and did a good job explaining how the simulators work and how to check when your next race was starting, so the whole process was pretty easy. Overall, this was a fun experience, especially if you're an F1 fan or enjoy racing games. The simulators are definitely more immersive than playing a racing game at home. That said, the price is hard to overlook considering how little actual driving time you get. We had a good time, but at around $30 per person for about 10 minutes of racing, this is probably a "do it once for the experience" kind of activity rather than something we'd do regularly.

I sent an email with questions about our reservation and never received a response. The online booking portal doesn't provide much detail, and while the website has a "Call" option, it wasn't very useful. I received multiple automated reminder emails stressing that we needed to arrive 15 minutes early because race times wouldn't be extended for late arrivals, which is completely understandable. I just wish there had been the same level of attention when it came to responding to customer questions. Once we arrived, the experience was much better. They gave our group a private seating area, which was a nice surprise. Our server was friendly, checked on us periodically, and never pressured us to order food. We chose to have drinks only, and it was nice to relax before and after racing. The simulators were a lot of fun, and everyone in our group enjoyed the experience. The only thing to know is that the races move quickly--you only have about two minutes between sessions to switch drivers, so there's not much time to explore the venue or step away without paying attention to when you're up next. Overall, it was a fun and unique way to celebrate a birthday. We'd definitely come back, although probably as a special once-a-year outing because of the cost. If F1 Arcade improved its communication before events, this easily could have been a five-star experience.

I stumbled across them during a YouTube deep-dive of local wedding bands and immediately told my now-husband I'd found the right band. We reached out in Sept 2021 and asked if there was any opportunity to see them live before we booked. They didn't have any upcoming live shows at the time but immediately invited us to stop by one of their rehearsals, where we were greeted warmly from the moment we arrived. They played a few songs by our request, though within 30 seconds we confirmed we were sold, and then were friendly enough to all sit and get to know us for a bit. They met with us again closer to our wedding date to confirm all of our song choices for the big moments, even enthusiastically agreeing to create a surprise mash-up of my dad's song choice and a childhood favorite of ours for our father-daughter dance. On our actual wedding day, they were flawless from beginning to end. Their instrumental version of "Helpless" from Hamilton for my walk down the aisle instantly triggered tears. Our first dance and dance songs were perfect. Our dance floor was packed all evening, including friends and family who don't typically gravitate toward the dance floor, and we had an absolute blast. MLX even surprised us by bringing one of their singers who'd actually left the group since we'd booked because they remembered we'd felt drawn to him (though their new singer, James, is awesome, too!). You can tell that MLX really loves what they do and were genuinely invested in making sure our wedding was perfect. We can only hope that one of our friends hires Modern Luxe for their own wedding someday. Until then, we will definitely be seeking them out at one of their public shows so we can relive our perfect night over and over.

They have somewhat recently reinvented themselves as "Modern Luxe" and play weddings now too! They still kick tush!!! We recently attended a wedding and these guys absolutely rocked it!! They played a fantastic mix of genres and combined them all so seamlessly. They had the crowd dancing and singing along from beginning to end. They covered all the classics you expect to hear at a wedding and some you would never think to, but thought were an awesome add-in. Each member of the band who came from a variety of different musical backgrounds offered something unique to the mix and together, they were absolute perfect and well-rounded. The band acknowledged the couple often and very well. They gave a warmth to the couple as if they weren't just another gig. They even learned the first dance song which the bride said she loved more than the original. The bride also said that she was going to go with a DJ, but once she saw Modern Luxe at a bar one night in Philly, she was sold. My small critique has nothing to do with the music so I'll keep with my 5 star rating they deserve based on performance. The tiny thing that kind of rubbed me the wrong way was the beautiful, personable lead singer's flip flops which she wound up changing into well into the night. I totally get it. Heels suck. There's no getting around it. Dancing and performing in them for hours blows. I've done it. I too was in the same industry for years and years and wore heels the entire night. I feel her pain, I really, really do. I just think it looked very unprofessional for a wedding, even a more casual summer barn wedding. There could've been a better, more appropriate shoe choice in my opinion. I'm not one for flip flops anywhere other than the beach or on the way to yoga. Certainly not with a dress and definitely not to your place of work or a wedding. A nice sandal if she wanted to keep with a summer open toe, a ballet flat or flat ankle bootie to go with the whole rocker chick thing. I mention this because I'm not the only one who noticed. The bride gave a lot of thought into every perfect elegant detail of her special night and I personally thought it was a tad disrespectful. I know this may sound harsh and silly, but I notice these things and apparently wasn't the only one. Small, tiny fixable flaw however. I've seen other photos of her performing and she looks amazing and dressed up, head to toe so I'm not sure what the deal was with this night.... I would absolutely hire these guys without thinking twice and I'm suuuuuuuper picky about bands. If you're in the market for a band for your wedding which I personally think is the way to go and makes a world of a difference, check these guys out! They still play the bar scene so seeing them live before booking or just for fun is easy. Check their Insta or FB for upcoming gigs!
