Metro and Science!
This connection at the La Raza metro…read morestop connects from one train to the other, in a long tunnel that runs the good distance between lines. While in this tunnel, you'll learn about various bits of science as you travel along!
While there, I learned about Darwin and his theory of evolution, the stars, the moons of the solar system, and meteors! So cool! There are lit panels, that give you a brief paragraph (in Spanish) about some cool science facts.
While traveling through here, I saw many kids and adults stopping along the way to take in the well thought out displays of science. The displays seem to be put on by the local university, and seem to be curated so they are changed out regularly.
It's a really cool way to get in some science, and makes the transfer on the subway super cool!
