I did not want to take pain killers or take a nerve block injection; those are only temporary. I wanted to try a more 'holistic' approach to my increasing and debilitating pain, and also to learn how to prevent them in the future. When we are in pain we expect a quick if not instant relief from our pain, thus seeking an instant relief from the above mentioned. Chiropractors and Acupuncturists have a more difficult task of making us feel relief in "one" visit otherwise they are condemned as "they don't know what they are doing". My experience with Dr. Matthew Westrich was extraordinary. His recommendations to me for my condition of a pinched nerve in my neck with shoulder pain radiating to my hands was to see him two to three times a week for adjustments. After my first visit with Dr. Westrich, my pain went from a 20 to a 4!, I had so much relief that when I went home I started doing house work for over two hours and hurt my shoulder again. Since then, I've seen him 4 times and I'm 90% back to normal. I'm sleeping better and my hips and my sciatica are doing great!! My suggestion is just give it a try sooner than later. If you need surgery then go that route, but why not try something where, with his help, your own body can help you heal yourself!!! 1000% recommend Dr. Westrich and the rest of the people at his practice. p.s. I suffer from Diverticulitis and can I tell you, I have tried many probiotics and enzymes before. So far the one he has, has been doing wonders for my colon. To my dismay, I was told that I would have a full treatment the first time and I had to pay a certain amount of money and that then it would just be a co-pay for my adjustments . Nice way to get you into the door !! I paid to be told that I needed x-rays and THERAPY is some electricity and heat in order to prepare the muscle for the adjustment. Allegedly. . Came back a second time and because I was not there, they told my son that he had to get a full treatment again and recommended weeks of treatment instead of adjustments . When I told him if we could do it otherwise because I did not have the money for that type of care, he said my insurance didn't cover anything else.. I paid $10 for a side to side stretch not even a full adjustment . I'm very disappointed and I feel it was a waste of my money going there. This place, probably just work with insurance insurance companies and they're trying to bulk it up by lying to people; not nice .

His philosophy is that the source of all problems is ultimately stress whether it be structural, emotional or nutritional source. His goal is to find the source of that stress and remove it using a plethora of techniques. What makes him particularly special is that he has many years of experience and education. He uses a broad array of techniques (and devices) and seems to be on the cutting edge of chiropractic techniques.
