Well the initial consultation was quick and painless. My husband and I are incredibly indecisive people, yet Ethan was able to give us choices that satisfied everything we could've imagined. The experience was amazing. We went to four different locations in the span of one day, each location being unique and equally beautiful. My husband and I are also very VERY shy people. Yet Ethan was able to somehow bring out the best of us. (Want to know what it's like being a celebrity? I would highly recommend doing prewedding pictures. I remember a little girl asked to take a picture with the princess. So cute! Many other people congratulated us during the shoots.) Other than Ethan's professional experience with photo-taking, he is also an amazing editor. I'm definitely on the rounder side, so I asked Ethan to help shave off some pounds. I was so worried that I would end up looking unnatural, but I also didn't want to look like an overweight bride. Let me tell you, I COULD NOT be any happier with how the photos turned out! On the day of our wedding, Ray was at our place bright and early, along with our photographer. He was able to work in conjunction with our photographer, to capture what they both needed, without being in our way. On the day of our wedding, there was so much to be done and so little time, so that was much appreciated. Ray came along to our outdoor photo shoot and again, collaborated with our photographer seamlessly. Throughout our ceremony and reception, he was everywhere. it was just so easy to work with Ray. Shortly after our wedding date, Ray and his partner came over again to show me a part of what they had thus far. I was very pleased with their work and the quality was beyond what I had expected. After just a few weeks, Ray emailed to let me know that our video was ready. We were so excited to see it! The first time we watched it, we couldn't stop laughing. He wanted to make sure he was capturing the moments that would make the final dvd fun and memorable. The resulting dvd was of very high quality and the shots taken were very nice. He was able to go to each table and have everyone say hi and take some artsy shots of the food/venue/guests as well. All in all, I'd definitely recommend this company to anyone because they are professional, polite, and willing to work within your budget (I ended up getting an unedited/raw footage version) and the end product is something you will surely enjoy! I'd consider their regular pricing as similar to what other videographers are going for so why should you choose these guys? Ray is very personable and interested in being as involved or as little involved as you want him to be in the videographing. He didn't get in the way of the performances but was still able to capture a nice angle. Hard to describe. haha. I was scared that the sound would be kind of horrible since it was all raw unedited footage and we had some singers/dancing going on, but the music didn't sound all static-y or muted like regular camcorders do.
