I bought a marinated flank steak that was amazing on the BBQ tonight. They also carry some great sauces, including my favourite Rufus and Teague Blazing Hot sauce. You can buy frozen pies from The Big Apple, which are the best pies around. They have a burger shack inside....sadly I was too early. Some other time. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the boss a really good man. This was a great discovery and I will happily drive the 25 km to get there. Very highly recommended.

The owner who is the butcher herself and her Mom are always welcoming and helpful. You can really tell that they take pride in their business and for good reason! The butcher shop is filled with so many things to drool over and the aromas from Fiora Bread, located inside North Station, are tantalizing. It's so hard not to buy everything in sight! The prices are reasonable given the high quality of the products and they have an expansive freezer section with pre-made homemade meals (so quick and easy!). We appreciate all the different cuts of meat they have as well as variety. They do dry aged meats, too, which is worth mentioning. Definitely stop in for a visit when you're in the area or we even recommend making a little day trip out to Manotick and including this local gem on your itinerary!

He had the Big Al platter and I had the special which was a chilly cheese dog. The dog was sloppy so Al brought me a fork with it but OMG it was good. Homemade chilli too. The decor is diner style with lots of antique radios, cameras and old house hold items on the shelves. Al built and raced cars in his youth and there are lots of pictures of old cars on the walls, one with him and his wife beside his 74 AMX. A great spot for breakfast and lunch. Closes at 2pm.
