He also met my need to get the work done as soon as possible. In fact, after telling me that there was a two-month waiting list, once I approved the estimate, they showed up to begin the job just two days later. Not sure how that happened, but I'm not complaining. Steven, the job foreman, was very professional and highly skilled, notwithstanding his youth. Why do people I meet keep getting younger? He is a perfectionist, a virtue which you rarely encounter with home contractors. He even helped guide me with the color selection. I threw him a few curve balls during the job, and he did everything I asked him to do with a smile. He and his crew were on time every day, and were all polite, neat, and hard-working. They are acrobats on high ladders, and barely dripped a drop of paint where it didn't belong. The finished job looks great, and exceeded my expectations. It is also worth mentioning that Wilber's guarantees the durability of the paint job for three years. All the others who bid offered a two year guarantee. I can't speak to their other services, but I would hire Wilber's again for a major painting project, and recommend them.

Cleaning lady Julie is a scam artist just like the owner of the company. They stole $850 and painted over outlets and switches. Including motion sensors. They smoke cigarettes in the house. Showed up four hours late on the first day and second day which was when I told them that I do not want them to continue working. And then they claim that the $850 initial deposit was already used towards expenses and payroll and that was why I did not receive a refund. in fact Julie had the nerve to ask for $250 more. do yourself a favor and save a headache. Go with someone else. Because this will end in a lawsuit. Check out their paint job in the photos

The painter I…read morehired named Chuck, wanted to change the agreed upon price for the paint job after he started and after delaying me for several days to do the work. what he did finish took much longer than anticipated. He asked for photos which I sent to give him an idea of the work to be done provide d general measurements of the rooms/ceilings to be painted, he gave me an estimate between $250-$400. On 2/13/18 he agreed to a price between $400 including pick-up of the materials from the store. The job included a vestibule/hallway area, a hallway and ceiling, a dining ceiling and crown molding, a bedroom with ceiling, and a den. He started work on 2/16/18 and was here for about 6/7 hours, he cancelled on 2/17/18, returned on 2/18/18 for about 7 hours and was a no show on 2/19/18. He said he was sending 2 of his staff to finish the work on 2/19/18 but they never showed and neither did he. He said he would come back the morning of 2/24/18 to finish. I waited and he didn't show or contact me. I called/texted him at 3:51pm, he replied by text at 4:27pm and stating that he needed to reprice the gig and wanted $160 more. I had already paid him $320 and was going to pay him the remaining $80 when he finished. He said that if I agreed to pay the now addition $240 instead of $80, he would send his staff to finish. I told him that was not fair and that was not our agreement. Still I offered to meet him halfway and he didn't reply. I found him unprofessional as a proprietor and his painting work required touch ups that I had to do myself and also hire another painter to paint the room with ceiling that he never got to and put up the crown molding in the other room. He didn't complete one of the rooms properly, rearranged furniture because he forgot how it was originally situated and painted the hallway ceiling with the wall paint instead of the ceiling paint. After all of this I would not recommend his services.
