The owner came to my home looked over the house and I told him what we wanted done. He said he didn't know if he could do all we wanted with our budget. So I up'd our budget by 10K. When he got ready to leave he told me that someone from his business would be contacting me in a couple of weeks to come out and take some measurements and that if I had not heard from them within 3 weeks to give him a call, you have my cell phone number. Well, when I did not hear from anyone from him or his business within 3 weeks I called his office and was told he was in a meeting, so I left a message asking him to call me. The lady who answered the phone said it could be the next morning before he returned my call. I waited several days and he never called me. So, I called his cell phone and left a voicemail. I waited a few days and when he did not return my call I called his cell phone again, this time he answered. He told me he was in a meeting and would call me back in 30 minutes. That was over a week ago. In my view he is very unprofessional.

Once again, the crew used my recommended 3 5/8 lag screws along with their 3 1/2 inch screws to ensure runners will not easily separate from the 4X4 posts. I commend Slade Walker and crew for their work during the inclement weather that occurred during the construction and kept delays to a minimum and that Slade was always available if we had a question or problem. We scheduled an appointment for an estimate and they did not show up. When our realtor, who was meeting them there, called to ask where they were, they got rude and said we never set an appointment up. When she said we did and she made the 30 minute drive just to meet them there, the receptionist/office manager said, "Well, that's not my problem," and hung up on her. I called back and was quickly handed over to James the owner. When he started raising his voice and being rude to me, I had to tell him I was not being rude so there was no reason for him to be rude. He changed his tone then, but was not apologetic and said that we were the ones at fault and there was nothing he could do to help us out. He said I have highly efficient office managers and they didn't get this wrong. Apparently, sir, they did get this wrong as you lost a customer. I could have overlooked their mistake because they are people and we all make mistakes, but their lack of care, concern, and all around politeness instead earned them this review. I have never made a bad review of anything before because honestly I don't like to hurt the business of other people. I allow for mistakes and off days. This was more than a mistake, it was an attitude problem and issue.

Previous owner had replaced the roof a few years back. First big rains after only being in the…read morehouse a few months and started noticing a few new water stain spots appearing in the kitchen ceiling. Jon came out and did a thorough inspection -- attic and roof. What he found had the potential of some major issues, there was a limit to what could be determined without a little demo to get into it. His quote was very fair all things considered. His crew showed up on time, pinpointed and effected a perfect repair to the actual problems, and the final bill was very reasonable charging only what was actually required to expertly correct our issue. The repair is solid, has withstood last winter (including the recent onslaught of rain this past weekend), and undoubtedly will endure for the remaining lifetime of the roof.
