I explained the problem to Consumers Powers and asked that they stop sending me furnace techs, I have a boiler. Tim from Pearson Plumbing and Heating arrived the next day. Tim took care of business. He explained what was happening, corrected the problem and informed me on the different options available to avoid lines from freezing.

As a result of the clog, our driveway was flooded and it came close to flooding our garage floors, Advantage sent to service guys the day after I called, and a separate truck with a huge pump and power spraying capability. They used the up to 8000psi pump to shot a powerful stream of water into both ends of the drain tile. It took about 45 minutes to unclog and clean the tile. They used all of their 400 gallon water tank and did a great job! About $600.

Best plumbing experience have ever had. Emergency-drain pipe under Mom's manufactured home appeared to be frozen (several days of sub zero weather with wind chiils in the -20s) since two other "services" had failed to resolve or even show up. The first-"yep it's frozen under the house"-can't wait to see that bill. The second (the non-existent "maintenance" at her mfg home park) promised to bring a heater to thaw it -but they "couldn't find one". There went a wasted day with sewage backed up in the tub and shower and can't use incoming water as it had no where to go. Desperate-looked in the local yellow pages. Roto Rooter-too backed up-would be a few days to get there. Called another place-different ad - lead back to Roto Rooter-after hours (close at 4:30). Finally called R and M Services of Coldwater around 8pm. They called back shortly after 8 AM as promised to schedule visit. Was 9-9:30 AM OK? Absolutely. Dan and Aaron were great. They had shoe guards to wear in the house. They diagnosed the trouble-yes the drain pipe was frozen-but there was a clog at a 90 degree elbow that caused/contributed to the issue. Yes it cost $$ but worth it for the quick, friendly, knowledgeable resolution. Thank you Dan and Aaron. Will tell all Mom's neighbors. Cheap/questionable and/or delayed service was not the answer for us. read more

I called R&M Service about a problem with my furnace not working. They quickly replace my bad inducer motor and even did a tune-up on my furnace. The dispatcher that answers the phone was professional and efficient at scheduling a technician to my house. The technician (Chris) was awesome he quickly diagnosed the inducer motor was bad and replaced it. He even performed a tune-up due to me forgetting to have it done the last two years. My experience was they were awesome. They were professional, great communication and THE BEST! read more

R&M Service installed a Geothermal system for us last spring and we were so excited about getting it but the most exciting part of all is the amount of money we have saved in utility cost thus far we have saved over $700.00! I've used R&M a few times and they always get to the job as quickly as possible and they always go the extra mile to make sure the job is done right. My furnace quit during the big freeze and they were out as often as it took to get heat going. They're a first rate outfit. read more
