The driveway looked nice at first, but within a couple of weeks and after heavy rain, cars and even people's feet began sinking into the gravel along, the gravel pushing out the retaining wall, sinking altogether, and ruts everywhere due to the gravel not being compacted. I immediately made Alex aware of the issue, and he said he'd come fix it. He never communicated a specific day, and when he finally said he was planning to come, I let him know I had a renter that day. After additional follow ups from me, he sent a quote for nearly $1,000 more to "fix" the driveway by rolling and compacting it, which is the exact work that should have been done the first time. I had already paid several thousand dollars for a fresh driveway, so being asked to pay extra just to have the job done correctly was surprising and frustrating. I asked if we could meet in the middle on the added cost, and after that, I never heard back from him. I also reached out within the warranty period outlined in our contract, yet the driveway was never fixed and I never received any communication about a resolution. Now I'm forced to file with the BBB and go through unnecessary steps just to try to get the driveway repaired. Unfortunately, this turned into another situation where a contractor doesn't finish the job and then ghosts you.

We contacted six different heating/cooling companies for a quote on my son's house. He had an old…read moreoil furnace system which we wanted to replace with a heat pump/back up electric system. I had considered several heat pump brands. Most companies were not too wild about removing the old oil tanks. I had looked at the top brands Carrier, Lennox, and Trane, all were very pricey. Air Comfort Systems' pricing was very reasonable. Something that stood out about Air Comfort Systems was their knowledge and helpfulness. This house was a huge rehab project that was costing over $50,000 in needed improvements. We hoped to hold our costs down and I had not even thought of using a York system. I knew nothing about this brand except remember seeing their air conditioner units occasionally. When the owner told me about the York system, I looked up the information on it and found it to be a very good product with an excellent warranty. He installed it for us and we have been very pleased with the system. We wanted a top of the line, energy efficient heat pump and that is what we got at a reasonable price. They definitely did some things that were above and beyond what the other companies would have done for us. Our system looks very nice both inside and outside of the house. The York heat pump is a very quiet, attractive system. We were very pleased with Air Comfort Systems' work.

Haven't heard anything since August 1st." The next day ON 08/21/2018, All I got was "Hoping Thursday" No apology, no sorry, no nothing! I replied "Ok. Please let me know about what time." On Thursday morning (08/23/2018) I got a text, "White gutter Late afternoon". I replied, "Ok. If I don't answer please call my home phone...I'm on midnights." I NEVER HEARD ANOTHER WORD. At 6:00 in the EVENING I CALLED AND GOT NO ANSWER, so I left a voicemail and sent a text, telling them I had to leave for work in a half hour, so just forget it, I'll find someone else to go to. That it had been a month and VERY POOR COMMUNICATION.
