All of the knives are sharp and work really well. Luckily none of my knives had nicks or chips that take extra time and cost to fix. I live close by so I dropped off and picked up my own knives but he offers that service for a delivery charge on his website. His pricing is fair for the amount of time and work he puts into each knife. I don't want to buy the equipment and invest my own time so I'd rather pay an expert for his time and work. I have updated my review to 4 stars (because I can't give 4 1/2). The only reason that they did not receive 5 is due to the delay in getting back to me. Do not hesitate shopping at Darcy's. You won't be disappointed with the quality of their meats.

Dom's is pretty close to my work and I've read good things on a forum. Finding the place is a little difficult because it's located in a skeezy little industrial strip-mall. And the sign doesn't actually say tool sharpening; and I didn't want to randomly walk into the wrong business with an axe (that would just be awkward). So I had to double check they sharpened tools. The skeezy exterior extends to the interior. All the business needs is a second hand sign above the counter showing prices, not a little piece of paper hanging on the wall beside you thats not even in large lettering. And I was not expecting was Dom. The man's command of the human language is, well, ummm... limited. You're more likely to get a grunt or moan instead of a word. But in the end, he sharpened my axe. Not the prettiest of jobs but it should work well. It's just an axe.
