I originally ordered from a competitor to save a few bucks and received a non-functional septic pump. I was given the runaround and stuck in limbo waiting for my return approval to process. We found RC Worst when we researched to install infiltrator tanks instead of concrete tanks for our septic system. We provided the design from our engineer to them and they took it from there. Provided the list of all the parts required. They introduced us to CDA Septic Systems for the complex excavation and installation as well. Between RC Worst and CDA Septic the whole installation went so smoothly. They showed up as promised and finished as promised. They took care of the permits and dealing with the county's inspector. Jonathan explained the whole system, how it works and how to maintain it to us in detail and now we have a working septic system. I am very happy with this company. When my well pump needed replacement, and I choose to do it myself despite knowing little on the subject, I needed a company with knowledgeable people to step me thru the equipment purchase, and to answer questions that came up while planning the installation. RC Worst met all my needs. When I first called RC Worst and explained my needs, I was transferred to David N., who patiently listened to my situation, asked me questions about my system, walked me thru several items on their website and helped me pick the pump, pipe, cable and fittings that I needed. David then followed thru, checking on my delivery, and answering my additional questions. I liked that David obviously had first hand knowledge of well pump installations, and wasn't simply reading my answers from a tech sheet. David also directed me to their YouTube page, which has How-To video's on a wide variety of pump and well issues, which I found very useful and informative. In the end, my first-time well pump replacement was accomplished without a hitch. I felt confident doing the job, and I didn't have to make extra trips to a hardware store for missing items. I have an off-grid ranch house with a well and found out the hard way that the company who installed it put in a jet water pump the manufacturer said was incompatible with the two bladder pressure tanks they installed. Since they were no help, having seen some of the Worst & Co. YouTube videos, i reached out to them. I'm so glad I did. Kyle was a great help and provided much needed answers to questions about the system, including now knowing the previous installer oversized it significantly. I don't know how much they're paying him, but it's not enough. They know what they're doing and can explain it in ways you can understand. I highly recommend them. read more

Really appreciate the amazing team at RC Worst! Have used them several times in the past and have always had an awesome experience! As luck would have it our septic system grinder/pump quit working on Thanksgiving Day. I did not want to disrupt them on Thanksgiving Day -- but called them Friday Morning. As you would expect on a Thanksgiving weekend they had given their team time off until Monday . But they had an emergency connection that I left a message for. It was not too much longer until we had a call from Christian to see what he could do (Also received a call from Chris Worst - an owner - who wanted to make sure I was taken care of). I asked Chris if I should just plan on replacing the pump since it was an older pump. His response further demonstrates the great integrity of this company. He said that in general he goes by "if it isn't broke don't replace/fix it" -- that usually they can get them running again. Christian came out that morning -- tested everything and pulled up the pump/grinder -- and it was actually a fairly easy fix. Saved the $1500+ that I think a new pump would have been. We were up and running, able to wash up Thanksgiving dishes, shower etc. All because they were willing to give up their family/personal time to take care of us on Thanksgiving weekend. So if you need someone to take care of your septic/sewer systems -- I highly recommend RC Worst -- they will take care of you and you can have the confidence that they have your best interests at heart and will treat you with integrity! read more

This company is a complete waste of your time if you have an emergency... which is quite ironic given they proudly advertise being available "24/7 and on holidays for ANY and ALL emergencies, big and small." Not true at all. I was a return customer having had no issues when dealing with them prior. That changed. We had an emergency and were knee deep in crap, which if you listen to their call-waiting message they proudly proclaim "we will be on the way." Not the case to say the least. Talked to their "Service" Manager Kevin who really could care less about our emergency. He said call back after 5pm and they would see if a technician could respond!? He explained there were 36 people ahead of me for scheduled work so I'd have to call back after business hours for emergencies. And further.. if that was not acceptable " to go find someone else!" Not sure what he manages but he sure knows zero about customer service. Long story short... talked to my neighbor who recommended LIL STINKER Septic. They were out to our house in 30 minutes and completely fixed our issue in two hours!! I will never recommend Worst to anyone... they falsely advertise "emergency services" which they do not provide, their customer service is pathetic, and they really can care less about you or your situation. Their view is "call someone else" if you are unhappy.... I did!! And THAT was the best advice I got out of this company. Don't waste your time with these people. I got the best from the Worst company. These guys have "KILLER" prices. They ship "lightning fast". Item arrived sooner than expected, usually when prices are this great, they ship it economy (which takes forever) to make up for the KILLER prices. Double check your bill! We used RC worst because they seemed to be on it. When are service tech came out he was good. Friendly and really cared about the customer and helping them! We were impressed. Once we got the bill we questioned the price of the new pump they put in. The service guy told us it would be about $425. Another company in town had it for $375 with a 10% discount. We ended up just buying RC's pump for ease of traveling. We got the statement and we were charged $905!!!!! We looked on their website and same pump is $653. We called to get a quote and they told us $804. So why were we charged $905!!!! This is completely absurd and the account receivable gal was completely rude and kept giving us the run around on why prices were different. Long story short we will NEVER use RC Worst again!!! I'd recommend H2O just like the service tech did! read more

BEWARE : We had an issue with our septic pump over the weekend. The weekend on call guy suggested we wait until Monday since the service is $155 per hour on the weekend and $105 if we wait until regular hours. Based on what was going on, we could wait. I called the office in the morning, reviewed the issue and that the weekend guy said someone could come out that day (Monday). I gave them my phone #, address, credit card information and was told the service manager would call me to schedule someone to come out that day. I confirmed the cost was $105 per hour and she said the they also charge per mile from the store to our house. The manager called to say they someone would be there by 2pm to evaluate what was going on. 2 guys came on time, super nice guys. We told them what was going on and the story we told the weekend guy. They said that the weekend guy never told them anything that would have been helpful. They evaluated the issue and said the pump was broken and needed to be replaced. They did not have what they needed (maybe if the weekend guy communicated with them, they would have had the pump to replace the one we had). They guys said they would come back later that day or tomorrow (Tuesday). We left the house to run some errands and I got a call from them about 2 hours later to say they just finished replacing the pump. I thanked them and told them how I was super impressed that they came back that day and did it so fast. The response was "we didn't have anything else going on today so it was easy to just come back today". So they workers were great. Very nice and very efficient. Now he is the issue: I got the bill and they charged me $105 per hour PER PERSON. I was not told that and I am not even sure that it needed 2 guys to replace the pump when only 1 guy would have come on the weekend to replace it. I called the office to challenge the extra charges for the second person. They were not interested in hearing what I had to say and just said "We always tell people the charge is $105 per hour per person, in fact it's policy." NO ONE SAID THAT TO ME. I asked to speak to the manager and was directed to his voicemail. I left a detailed message with my phone number and HE NEVER CALLED ME BACK and my bill was never changed. My total bill was about $2,700. About $800 of it was the hourly wages I paid for 2 people to do 3.75 hours of work including 4 one way trips to and from our house and the office. All I was requesting was to be credited back $400 as I was never told the fee was for each person when I don't believe that it required 2 people ...they just weren't busy. So when you need service you might request only 1 person unless 2 are absolutely necessary. And don't expect a call back to resolve any issues from the manager. read more

We have called R.C. Worst for service on two occasions. On each of them, the plumber who came to our house was very nice and professional. They worked as quickly and efficiently as possible and finished the job in a timely manner. On the most recent occasion, I had a question about my bill and ultimately ended up talking to Chris Worst, whose family has owned and operated the business for decades. He took the time to listen to me and said he would check my invoice, then call me back. Ten minutes later, he called me back and after talking to him, I better understood what I was being charged for and paid the bill. He was very nice and I could tell he really cared about me as a customer. In the past, I've recommended them to friends and family and will continue to do so. read more

I contacted RC Worst customer service for a warranty issue with a UV lamp for my water system. After speaking with Dave he helped me to troubleshoot the issue and agreed to provide warranty service if the lamp was the problem. The lamp seemed to not be the issue after installing the replacement and Dave contacted Luminor technical services to dig further. He quickly responded with their advice to replace the controller. I placed an order and was offered a discount by RC Worst. A week later my UV equipment is back in service. I appreciate their customer service, wide variety of products and am happy to give them business. read more

We had an emergency situation last night which a plumber who came out to the house was unable to resolve. The plumber suggested we call a pump place. Kass from RC Worst responded and stayed on the phone with us for a good 30 minutes while we explained the situation. We opted for a next day fix. He said he'd call at 7:15a (which he did), came out and got the job done. 5 star service. My interaction was pretty basic - I needed a specific pump and my wife found it online at RC Worst. I'm out of state, so no tax, free UPS shipping to my residence was very attractive. Plus the price hundreds of $$ less than any local distributor who would still need to order it with 3 day leadtime. Still, I hesitated ... unknown supplier, possible shipping snafus etc ... but when salesman Dave dropped the price $100, told me they would double box it, and confirmed UPS would deliver to my front porch, I was sold, Arrived on time, no shipping damage, works perfectly. read more

After renting a storage unit for over a year from this company had assumed my property would be safe while I was away from town for 7 days, I however figured out the very hardest lesson that these low life's had placed an eviction notice on my door 2 days before I had left giving me 10 days to vacate the property. As I was leaving town for 7 days this key me with less than 24 hours until these people decided to lock my unit and peeve me from obtaining my property with the excuse that a car was parked in front of the unit. I know I am at fault for having a car parked in front of my unit however I feel like over a year renting from them with almost no other units past mine I could have at least been allowed to get my stuff before they locked me out.i rented a space to store my belongings with faith it would be safe but obviously I was mistaken and it cost me. In good faith I repaired it for immediate installation over a weekend, expecting RC Worst to back it under warranty and customer service. If you ever decide to use Worst, first off just look at the name and think twice about calling. And when you do decide to use them (tsk tsk, you've been warned) make sure that you know exactly everything that you will be charged for, and I mean EVERYTHING. Also make sure that they know exactly what will be needed for the job, and if you will be charged for their mistakes too. I would encourage you to find out the exact time and milage to your house before agreeing. And have the person doing the job call you when they leave to call you, and ask where they are leaving from! Once they get there start your stop watch and ONLY stop when he is driving away. Be advised you will be charged for every stop light, every break in traffic, every time they stop at McDonald's, etc! I used Worst about three years ago, after three visits they failed to get my sewer pump fixed, ( and charged me for all three visits) when the girl called about getting paid, I probably let her have it, I had to call another sewer guy, buy another pump and got no money back from Worst.. Well three years later I bought a house in Sandpoint in which they installed a $100,000 plus commercial sewer system.. It didn't work right from the time I bought the house, I still have a problem and when I called there service department about getting someone out, they said I was banned from having any more work done because of what happened three years ago..well there is two sides to every story, but as a business owner for over 33 years, I know how to treat people..In closing, very, very poor service department and would not recommend in any way..Believe you me, I'm not the only one more than a little disappointed with there business practice, couldn't get the girl that answers the phone, to let me talk to the general manger or the owner, I'm guessing nobody cares..
