At this point i asked to just forget it. Apparently this business is so busy they dont need or want my business, very unfortunate. They also had my last name in their system COMPLETELY different from what it is, despite me having given all my information twice before, and phonetically. I submitted all requested information for agent to generate a quote, and I never received the quote. I attempted to follow up with Dan several times via phone and email and he has not responded. Communication is very important when doing business. If the agent was not able to find coverage for the property, the professional thing to do is to communicate that to the customer. Customer service and follow-up is not good which is why I do not recommend this company.

In the year since, we had zero claims, but HMS decided to drop us out of the blue. No other company would insure our association. HMS came back and said that they'll keep us only if we pay an additional $28K a year (~90% increase) and the deductible increases from $5K to $10K. I understand raising the deductible, but the premium increase is outrageous and only serves to promote the stereotype that insurance companies are only after profits...typical 1% mentality. I am disgusted with this company. We have no recourse and the already struggling families that live in our building will have to pay even more into the association coffers as a result of someone's poor decision at HMS.
