So, of course I trusted that I was in good hands. This is far from the truth. The first time I met with him, it felt like an interrogation. He asked me if I was lying, he said that my mother was raising my children- when in reality we're coparenting. He put me on a payment plan. We agreed on 500 a month, and somehow he stated that I had to pay him another 500 on the 16th. I gave him a check that didn't go through because of my car payment that came out the same day. I got a money order for 500$ the next Friday to pay him. I get to the office and it's empty. He comes in with shorts on and looks at me and says, " when is the next payment?" I was in shock honestly. He had not given me any updates on the case. As far as I know I paid him to do one thing- for a notice of representation. I texted him about not responding to my texts and sent him a screenshot of what another poster had said on here to see what the explanation was. He texted back" I'm withdrawing from your case. Good luck." Then, he came back and said that he would give me another chance. At this point, I'm cutting my losses. He has a temper and is extremely rude. He doesn't have paralegals and he makes his own rules depending on how they suit him. I'm glad I got out when I did! Please do not hire this lawyer if you want legal help.
