He explained everything to us in detail and helped me calmed my nerves. He also helped us figure out how to include some family traditions. After the bris he explained everything to us in person with pictures and props and sent us written instructions. He checked in on us and our son every hour after that to make sure the healing process was going well. He has been available for every question and picture I have had. On top of all this rabbi Lawrence helped me stay calm on what is a very emotional day. If you are looking for a mohel who goes above and beyond rabbi Lawrence is your man!

It was the nicest bris I've ever seen. Dr Roberts is also my OBGYN and delivered my son. I was extremely comfortable and happy that my doctor was going to do my son's Bris, it put me at total ease. As my doctor, Dr. Roberts provided exceptional care throughout my entire pregnancy and during the delivery of our baby. He truly made a signiticant impact on our experience. Dr Roberts is extra special to me and my whole family as he delivered me and my brother as well as my son and my brothers three children. In conversations before the bris, I knew that my friend was nervous about the process, the ceremony, and the actual circumcision. I can say with confidence that Dr. Rumbak put the family's mind at ease both with her expertise and her gentle approach. As a "spectator" at the ceremony, Dr. Rumbak passed around sheets so we can all follow along and feel part of the ceremony, and explained what different blessings meant. She also added some Jewish text in a modern and relevant way, which I appreciated, and my family continued to discuss post ceremony. The sweet baby did super well and was calm throughout the entire process. Truthfully, I didn't even know when the actual circumcision actually happened because she was so gentle and discrete. At the end of the ceremony, many people went up to Dr. Rumbak to compliment her on one of the best brit mila's they ever went to, and many asked for her card (including my mom for our temple!). She has a great business partner in Shachar, who socialized with the guests of the ceremony, kept everything organized, and was just an all around stand up guy. Oh, and how great that she is a mohel AND a doctor. Talk about putting your mind at ease..that will definitely do it. Highly recommend.

Would have loved so much to give a glowing review of Dr. Rumbak but unfortunately we look back on…read morethe day of my son's bris and what transpired after with a lot of sadness. Dr. Rumbak deserves credit and thanks for her discretion in not circumcising our son the day of his bris due to a urological condition she noticed in her ore-ceremony examination. We are thankful for that. She performed what essentially worked out to a baby naming ceremony for us. Obviously the day was emotional to begin with and the news she couldn't circumcise was extremely disappointing and heartbreaking since this was a day we looked forward to for so long. In the days after the bris we were able to absorb the events better and realized exactly what happened. To begin with, my wife asked for a program to keep as they were being collected (yes, collected), and the response was, "I collect them." She said the same to my mom (baby's grandma). We consider this ridiculous - even if the baby's grandparents couldn't have one, at least the parents should. When I emailed Dr. Rumbak about the issue I'm about to describe, I also mentioned the program and that part of my email was left unaddressed. Here's the major problem, though. We paid $800 for a circumcision plus $150 for travel from Manhattan to Nassau. We were happy to do this because we really liked Dr. Rumbak on the phone. However, after the bris, we had a bit of a realization that really irked us. Why were we never offered any kind of refund for the circumcision not being performed? It really should have been offered that day, on the spot, but it wasn't. Days and weeks turned to months and we still were never offered anything. We didn't even get an email or phone call to check on our son given the medical issue Dr. Rumbak identified. This was surprising given the emotional nature of the day but also because part of Dr. Rumbak's service (advertised on her web site and vouched for in her reviews) is her frequent follow up with the family. Finally after a few months, I emailed her explaining we feel we are owed some kind of refund due to the most critical part of the ceremony, the circumcision, not being performed. It is that expertise for which we paid. Dr. Rumbak issued a $200 refund, saying that the rate for a baby naming is $600. It's unfortunate such a beautiful day was soured by the experience we had. As new parents we feel we were, in a way, taken advantage of. Dr. Rumbak did ultimately give some money back, but we feel we shouldn't have had to ask. Experiences like this are what make people cynical about organized religion. The right thing to do would have been to give us a refund without us having to ask. We would not recommend her.

There was an attendant at the gate to help with arrival and departure, which was a great idea. Make sure you paid in the lobby before the show. $20 for event parking. The venue itself was very nice. It was just the right size to have a smaller concert. Everyone was very nice. 2 complains. The ladies' restroom ran out of toilet paper and paper towel....a big no no. And for whatever reason there was not enough AC in my section right under the balcony. People around me were fanning. Once we walked down from the section into the main floor after the concert, you could feel the temperature difference. Air Supply was amazing!
