The team was helpful, patient and kind, and everything went smoothly with the loading process on a very hot day. I had my own covers for my couches, but they did an excellent job wrapping the last over-sized chair. These guys were very professional. I attached a couple of photos of the large, long-distance truck and the organization on boxes and other items. The quoting process was good, as Scott was personable and wore a mask inside my home during the COVID-19 lockdown period. The office was OK about the paperwork and emails - just be patient and follow up if needed. I'll also note that the moving company on the delivery end was not so great, but it's probably the roll of the dice. The driver admitted that my dresser was wrapped properly by the loading company, but the delivery guys unwrapped it before moving through the door, which resulted in some minor damage. All boxes arrived. Only one loose, inexpensive patio chair was missing (which I could have prevented had I packed it in a box properly. Overall, I was satisfied given my expectations of the long haul.

They were very responsive, adapted quickly, helpful, super friendly and had great attitudes. Having said that, we sold our house in Scranton, Pa. and needed to store our furniture while searching for our new home all the way in Las Vegas, Nevada. Needless to say, a family friend recommended Caddens Moving Storage Company. Caddens came in, packed our house effects and securely placed our items in storage. Pat, one of the company owners, personally came to our house during the pack out. I thought his being there was impressive . Caddens stored my furniture and other household items for over a year and a half, part of which was during the pandemic. I was amazed at how cheap the storage fee was! Normally, Caddens Moving Storage services the east coast. I actually thought I would have to contract one of the bigger companies like United Van Lines or Allied. I even got quotes from each, which were both ridiculously high. Knowing that Caddens normally doesn't deliver to Nevada, I was surprised when I talked to Pat, and he asks when did I need my items, and he would see what he could do. Well, I feel Caddens went out of their way to assist me, and guess what? They delivered our furniture at half the price that I was quoted by the big companies. Not one item was broken or missing. Our driver Russ, and the young man who assisted him, Adrain, were both fantastic! They took exceptional care moving my furniture and putting things together and hauling off the wooden crates and other empty boxes . Russ and Adrian, nice job! Had a container needing a rework. Tried to drop it at their facility on a Friday and their…read moreforklift was down. We dropped it on their yard and granted, someone was supposed to go back and move it into a dock the next Monday, but this was missed and these guys never reached out and there was never a mention of $180/day storage. Finally, we caught this and they wanted over $4000 in storage before they would release this. Things happen and fall through the cracks, but the fact that NOBODY reached out and there was never a mention of storage is HORRIBLE business. When you work with a company the goal is to have a partnership and to help everyone keep eyes on things and it seems like these guys had no interest in being a partner, just sitting back and silently collecting over $4000 for something that was mentioned and then holding your freight hostage. Very bad way to build trust and a partnership.

They accommodated the day I needed…read moreto move; showed up ten minutes early; reviewed everything that was needed to be moved; and worked expeditiously while respecting my belongings. Upon arrival to the new location everything was unloaded and set up, again very quickly but without any issues -- they were so very careful. One thing they did, something I thought was unusual, they walked with me through each room to determine if everything was in place and how I wanted it. After my final approval, we sat down and went through the charges and received the invoice. I thought the cost was very fair and less than I expected. Moving is a major stressor and Minute Man Movers made it easier for me.

U-Pack is a god option to use when moving if you want someone else to drive your household goods…read moreand furniture to your new house. Granted, you have to load the trailer but they will give you several days and you aren't paying daily rental fees unlike U-haul. I think we had four days to load the trailer. With that being said, it's a little more difficult to load these trailers because the deck height is about four feet. They do provide a ramp but it is quite heavy and it takes two people to put it up and store it. Keep in mind that this is actually an ABF freight trailer and if you don't take up the entire trailer with your furniture, they may put other freight in the trailer although you install bulkheads with your own locks that will separate your furniture from any of their freight. It was actually a pretty good move so I was definitely satisfied.
