He proceeded to stay up and buzz me in, and was just hands down incredibly kind. Aside from the him, the gym equipment is brand new. There isn't a scratch on anything and the gym is in pristine condition. Not only is lighting is incredible, but she had all the machines you need, and all of them are top of the line. Will absolutely come back anytime I'm in town and would recommend this gym to absolutely anybody looking at getting started or a veteran steel thrower who wants a peaceful, no B.S gym where you can redline your body. Last note: Even after staying up for a few extra hours, owner only charged me $5 for a pass. There's zero excuse in my opinion to not try this gym out. I am a paying member. If I am there doing my routine why is your client more important than me? I brought this to the attention of the manager and the owner and have heard absolutely nothing back. Clearly they are not interested in providing customer service. It's a shame really. Customer service is quite easy to give, yet they don't think it's important.

During out short stay in Gulf Shores, AL I visited this gym and enjoyed the experience so much that I went 3 days in a row. When I got out of the vehicle they said my name and invited me it so the greeting was unexpected but nice. When I went inside I was pleasantly surprised at how nice and clean the facility was! It is a smaller gym but has adequate equipment to allow for about 10-15 people to work out. The class was not only strength training, they also incorporated cardio/endurance activity in the workout session. The warm up was different from our gym but it was a new experience that was very enjoyable. Options for scaling provided for all levels from RX all the way down to novice. Clothing and drinks were available for purchase. It was definitely one of the friendliest environments for a new visitor for sure. Will be back next time I'm in Gulf Shores. (Price was currently $20 drop in or $50 for the week).

The first thing I noticed is how clean and organized the gym was. Next I felt welcomed and the members were very encouraging. Joe the owner is knowledgeable and attentive. The classes are fun, and with a bad shoulder I didn't feel pressured to do anything I wasn't able to do. Joe listened and modified things for me so I could still get a great workout without further injuring my shoulder. Classes are focused and intense. Great for beginners as well as advanced. The gym itself is a very well managed facility with plenty of the latest equipment, ample space for multiple WODs going on at the same time, and a shower/changing room. The gym is kept clean and is located in the middle of downtown, making it a convienient location from across the Pensacola Area. Gil Petruska, the owner, if very flexible with regard to membership to meet any member needs. There is generally good crossfit equipment at any gym, an this gym is no exception. However, what sets the gym apart is the atmosphere and the staff/coaches. Gil, the head trainer and owner, puts his heart and soul into his business providing high-quality programming, a welcoming yet competitive atmosphere and by genuinely caring for his athletes. The assistant coaches bring a wealth of certifications, knowledge and experience as well. There are many walks of life that compete on a daily basis at the gym - working moms, military, business people, aspiring college athletes and mostly people who want to become more fit and healthy.
