Never fear - all I had to do was mention the word 'birthday' to waitress Emily and she was on the case. After dragging me over to the bar and introducing me to bartender Nick, she began gathering her evidence. Could they do a special brownie + sparkler dessert, complete with singing? Well, my BFF is gluten free.... Nevermind, does she like cocktails? Does she like cocktails! The next thing I knew our table was besieged by cosmos, sparklers and singing waitstaff.
