When you enter the building, if you veer to the left, you will see where you can place your order. If you go to the right, you will find a small dining area with booths. Being that it is located in a gas station, there are an adequate amount of spots to park. The place does not have a grill, fryer or stove. All their food is refrigerated and/or microwaved. They serve items such as burgers, pizzas, pretzels, salads, subs, phillys, wraps and tacos. They also serve breakfast sandwiches. All the drinks that a usual gas station has are at your disposal to choose from. The pizza looked like it was self serve, as I saw a customer get her own slices and take it to the front register. I ordered one of their famous gyros. The meat is pre cut, pulled out of the fridge and nuked for a few minutes. The pita is swallowed up by the meat. There is so much meat. It could make 2 or 3 gyros out of it. I had to eat the meat down to get to the pita. The gyro was warm, but you could tell that it was not fresh and was reheated. It was flavorful though and really filled me up. I had it for lunch and ended up skipping dinner. I also had some of their potato salad, which they got out of a big container in their refrigerator. It was ok, nothing special though. To top my meal off, I got one of the large chocolate chip peanut butter cookies that were starring me in the face when I was ordering. It looked a whole lot better than it tasted. I definitely would not get one of those again. Even though there was a small dining area available. It did not seem very cozy and still felt like you were eating in. a gas station, so, I decided to take my food to go. The staff there were friendly enough and very welcoming. I was stuck between giving this place a 3 and 4 star rating, but ultimately decided to go with the 3.

Enter/exit to the station is a little wonky. You can enter only going west on 86th Street and leave only west. I ended up making a U-turn to get into the lot. They need a round about. An abundance of managers and clerks were on hand to welcome people and help with their automated ordering machines. Everyone was super friendly and stoked. There are lots of grand opening specials, including free coffee, $2.29 gallon gas, $4 hoagies, $3 smoothies and more. I filled up on gas. The pumps are easy to use and covered. I did have one of their Immuno smoothies. I was disappointed that all the smoothies had added sweeteners. I ordered one with matcha and mango. The smoothie was prepared quickly. Unfortunately, it was overly sweet so I couldn't drink it. The store portion is well stocked. I saw local craft beers and lots of beverages. Grab and go foods are available and convenient for travelers. Wawa brings a new choice for gas and fast food to the Northwest corner.

I told them to calm down that I was simply just asking a question and they continue to yell and told me to get out of their store. I felt so threatened that I ended up throwing my straw that was in my hand out of nervousness because he was starting to walk around the counter. I've never been treated so poorly in my life by two males. I love the ladies that are in there during the day. But I will never go back because the way that they came at me aggressively and came around the corner at me and were so close to putting their hands on me, actually scared me, and then they proceeded to follow me out the door yelling at me.

The pumps are covered with spacious aisles. Big trucks and cars use the same pumps. I was uncomfortable maneuvering between the dump trucks that were filling their tanks. The gas prices were about 10 cents higher than the average prices in Indianapolis, but the station is seconds off Interstate US65. A bank of EV charging stations is under construction and will be on-line shortly. In general, there is still a lot of construction in progress around the facility. Inside, the store is huge and spacious. Merchandise is smothered with the Wally logo. Stations were set up with hot sandwiches, pastries, popcorn, jerky, chicken, coffee, slushies and more. Friendly clerks greeted us and volunteered to assist. I grabbed a bag of fresh chips and a Bbq Brisket Sandwich. The chips are incredible, crispy, fresh, sinful and no too salty. The Bbq Brisket was filled with chopped brisket. The sandwich was just ok, but I liked the spicy bbq sauce. Prices are reasonable. Utensils and condiments are provided. There is no place to sit and eat, we took our food home. My husband loved his Cinnamon Roll smothered in caramel and nuts. The $4 beast was huge and fresh. He gave it a solid 5 stars commenting on the strong cinnamon flavor. The store is filled with kitchenware, gifts, toys, Wally themed tees and personal care products. I saw everything that a traveling family might need and more. The toy section rivaled any local toy store. In fact, a group of kids were waiting in line for NeeDoh toys that were about to be shelved. The candy aisle is filled with old fashioned candies with Wally labels. I spent 15 minutes reading funny greeting cards. The beer case was filled with name brand beers, but I did not see local craft beers. When I travel, I like to pick up local craft beers as gifts. The wine selection included inexpensive options. The restrooms were huge and pristine, probably the nicest that I've seen traveling. So, if you're traveling and want lunch, gas and bathroom break, Wally's is a perfect option. You're probably not going to make it a quick stop because there is so much to see.

I find that I have to go in repeatedly to find items that I regularly purchase. Most of the staff members are helpful if you can find one to ask a question. However, I have to call out the Manager behind the desk who has been particularly "sour" on the few occasions when I have returned items, and I have noticed this same attitude in her own interactions with staff. I think this affects them negatively as it's hard to get a smile from the checkout folks who just mechanically do their jobs (with one long time employee "Go....a" being the exception). There is no sense at all that they enjoy working at this WF. I purchase bread here and it is good, but the area is usually understaffed. Sometimes, there is a 5-6 minute wait to just find someone to slice the bread. Believe me, I'd much rather shop at WF than TJ's, but the staff members at TJ's are quantum leaps better in terms of their consistent friendly customer relations and service. Having said all this, I will say that this WF location's meat counter and produce staff members are the exception....they are very good and helpful. For made to order food items, you put in your order on a screen and a little ticket prints out. Then you go pay at the cashier or self-checkout and come back to wait for your food. I opted for a an iced Carmel macchiato and a bagel with cream cheese. My brother tried the French toast breakfast sandwich. Everything was delicious. I'm glad I heard them announcing to another customer how it works since I'm not sure I would've figured that out on my own. When your order is ready, they'll call out your number. The coffee did come from a different side than the food so you may have to wait at both stations. It was super clean and well organized. There was plenty of parking between the front and the back of the building. But, we noticed there wasn't any seating inside or outside. I didn't interact with employees much since I ordered at the screen and did self checkout, but they were friendly and did a good job explaining how the process worked when making announcements.
