Located on Barrett Parkway at the Crater Lake intersection sits this beautiful convenience store. It has been here for about 5 years and is a staple in this area, so be prepared for a busy store and busy pumps! This location has about 16 pumps, including diesel and has a free air pump off to the side. Parking is plentiful as they have spots lining each of the three entrances. Inside they have all the things that we love including coffee station, tea station, donuts, hotdog/rollup station, slushees and of course the QT Kitchen...which is definitely growing on me! In addition to all the goods they got, this location is always very clean and put together, and features great service from the floor to the kitchen to the register! I have always swung in for a single slice of pizza, but only recently decided to grab a few actual pies which are served in XL size at only $8.99! Well worth the price and they are quite tasty for convenience store pizza! My other item from the kitchen is the Iced Mocha. Again, fantastic price and great tasting! Overall, QT is my go-to for convenience stores here in the Atlanta metro area and this location will be the spot when I make my way to Kennesaw!

Nearby businesses includes a Sonic Drive-in, O'Reilly Auto Parts, AutoZone, Pep Boys, Publix, CVS and Wal-greens. This store is one busy store. Lots of folks trekking in for their morning coffee and filling up their vehicles for the week. They do keep the place clean and orderly. This is a very useful gas station on a tricky road with high speed limits and lots of traffic lights. It's near a few cool hidden food stops in the distant northwest suburbs of Atlanta. Gas prices here are usually significantly cheaper than at other stations in the area because this particular station is a discount price type of a place, so it's the kind of place I will always stop given the chance. I can't base this location on gas prices. There is a myth that station owners control their prices…read more if they charge too low they run out of gas, if they charge to high they lose customers. Most station owners gain profits from convenience sales and car repairs. Gas prices are usually higher where local governments have higher real estate taxes. Lastly, their not allowed by their franchise contract to set their own prices. Now that I got that myth out of the way, lets talk about the service at this location. This Chevron is great! it has a large parking lot and spacious bays to allow patrons to pass one another to get to a gas pump. It always looks so clean outside and inside. The station attendants are always polite and professional. They've always greeted me with a smile. I remember one particular day when there were a shortage of gas. The attendants professionalism steadfast. There is also a McDonalds inside attached to the Chevron Gas. I'm not that thrilled about McDonald's but who knows McDonald's is in the business of real estate. They may own the land Chevron is sitting on. The restaurant customers have ample space to maneuver to the drive through. It's really a clean area. I don't find this place to be a rip off. The owners has to earn a living as anyone else. Sometimes when non business owners do not understand what goes on behind the scenes of an establishment its tough for them to grasp why things are the way they are.

I know in the past that the pizza is less appealing here than the other locations, but I stopped anyways. There wasn't a fresh pizza being made, so I decided to get a slice from what was leftover. My mistake. After paying and leaving, I took a bit while sitting in the parking lot. It was cold and tasted like it had been made days ago. I went back into the store and asked the employee at the register if I could get another type of slice as I explained y issue. She went to ask the manager. The manager walked over, took the box and put his finger on the pizza to test the temperature. He then looked at me and commented "It didn't stop you from eating half of the slice". I replied that was only one bite. He mumbled something under his breath and waved me on like I was inconvenient to him. I haven't been back to this location since. What horrible customer service, especially from a manager.
