Love this Kroger. I do have one complaint though. I'm usually a nighttime shopper (always in and out before closing time creeps up of course) and jeeze the ineptitude of *some* of the evening self checkout workers is amazing. This is coming from a previous Kroger front end supervisor, lol. I'm a regular so I will say some of them I recognize do a good job, but wow on multiple occasions in the evening they'll start making their announcements etc. probably around 10:30. I usually don't have that much so I'm quick and easy in-and-out. I'll walk up to self checkout at like 10:45 and then there's a huge line because the genius self checkout worker already started closing down the lanes. Definitely not protocol whatsoever. I'm gonna be completely honest when I say if I was supervising that night I would've given them an earful, lol. Isn't the goal to get the people out? Now that my rant about particular self check out workers is over, I'm very happy that this updated store finally opened. Sooooo much of an improvement compared to the old, tiny one on Delk and Powers Ferry. The speed bumps are a little annoying but other than that parking is great. Huge spots, lots of cart corrals. Gas station is awesome and regularly has a competitive price. The selection here at this store is great. I will also say I think I've seen a general improvement in the front end some recently, I think they might have a newer front end manager or something. Whoever you are, keep up the good work. I think you might still have a couple SCO workers that could use some tips though lol. Overall, solid store. read more

Came here to grab some quick essentials. From a quick scan through the aisles and produce, I could see items were well stocked and organized. Check-out was easy since all the registers were up and working. Parking is straightforward as with most Krogers. Would come again if in the area! read more

Krogers is a fantastic store to shop at. Whenever I am in Atlanta, I shop at Krogers. They have items that other stores simply don't have. I have seen soft drinks flavors that I have not seen in other stores. There are items like packs of sausage. Items in the veggie or fruit department that are unique. During this visit we saw Christmas decorations that I had to get. This Marietta store is upscale in product and style. I do recommend this store read more

Visit store on 5/3/26 around 9:30 and took 20 minutes shopping. When I went to check out, no cashiers were at registers, no one in customer service and only one self-scan area was open. Only employee I saw was the one telling people to go to the end of the line. Line extended from this self-checkout line all across the front store and extended to rear of store. I decided to go to another Kroger instead. I went to front to leave this same one confronted me that I had to go to the end of the line. When I told her that I was going to another store and just wanted to make sure that the items in my cart were put back with a loud "WHATEVER". I live within a mile of the store but will not shop there again!! I did go to the Kroger on Atlanta Road and was home in an hour even with two lanes being closed on the perimeter due to construction. There are Kroger's at Atlanta Road, Sandy Springs, Howell Mill and Georgetown shopping center which are further away, but with much better customer service. Mr. Manager, you should be ashamed and embarrassed of your night staff. read more

Love seeing updated stores! This morning I stopped by the nearest Kroger (this one) to pick up a few items. I had a great experience here and am jealous of those who get to use this one as their regular store. Parking Plenty of parking in front. I noticed the amount of space for cars between aisles. It's nice to have room instead of squeezing your car through narrow parking lots which often happen around the city. Starbucks This location does have a Starbucks inside. Service I had trouble finding an item and an associate actually stopped what they were doing to help me. Such a small gesture but one I've yet to experience in years in the grocery store. Keep up the great work with your customer service. Cleanliness This was a very clean and orderly store. read more

I am not a big fan of Kroger to begin with, but this may be the worst one I've ever been to. Every single time I have to come here (closest store to me, so sometimes I make the sacrifice), there's at least 1 employee who is unhelpful at best and absolutely just plain rude at worst. Unfortunately it's usually the latter. Today I tried to flag someone down for assistance in the self checkout and an employee walked by saying "ugh! why?!" in my direction before continuing on her way... Thankfully a sweet girl swooped in to help, but I could tell she was also annoyed at having to compensate for her coworker's laziness. Wish this was a once off experience but it absolutely wasn't. read more

What a huge improvement from the previous kroger down the street. The staff are more attentive and friendly. Much bigger and more selections and well organized in comparison to the previous. Good deals and fresh items. In addition there's now a Starbucks inside. Way better than publix read more

It's opening day at the NEW Kroger superstore in Marietta!! if you haven't checked them out yet, you should definitely stop in because there are a few freebies (free bread, reusable totes, food, etc) for opening day - Wednesday, August 2nd! Also, gas is priced at $3.69 but is $.20 off today only in celebration of the new store. There's plenty of parking in the gas station has been already in operation. Festivities today included a live DJ and tent set up with Springer Mountain Chicken! This Kroger has a wide array of products and everything is beautiful. So you're gonna want to check them out! read more

The Kroger on Powers ferry, newly built and expanded, has the worst grocery pick up. I think I've ever seen. Three out of the last five times I've tried to do grocery pick up. I've got the message that my grocery order would not be ready and someone to call. Surprise, no one ever does! Today, same message, so I went about an hour after my requested pick up time and was told that they were still trying to fill orders from yesterday because they only had two employees! You would think the store manager or managers would know about this problem and be trying to remedy it instead of ignoring it. If I have to go into the store, I might as well go across the street and go to Publix. read more

Clean, fully stocked, and the people were nice. I ended up visiting this location 3 times in the same day. The prices were also reasonable. I did have an issue with my app being able to scan for the weekly digital deals, but it was for only one item, so I didn't mind. read more

Ok so after shopping here awhile, I have to dock a star. This is pertaining to the layout of the store. I've truly tried to embrace it, but I truly cannot find certain items that should be in "common sense" places (e.g the dairy is in the middle of the store). This is outside the usual common sense that dairy is typically on the "edges" of a supermarket. Maybe I'm being too picky here, but it does add time to my shopping. Love the expanded Murray's cheese area though!! Will add staff was super helpful in assisting me finding some odd items. read more

awful. The whole shopping center is disappointing. The produce was not fresh. They had so many managers there. An excessive amount of self checkout. Only two manned ones, and one the staff member wasn't there. In general the products seem more expensive. We didn't like it at all. No manned cheese counters like the one I use. It was my first and last visit. Parking was poor also. The Publix across the street is better. read more

We had high hopes for this new shopping center, so far dashed. The new Panera Bread says they'll hold bread loaves through a certain time. You give them an exact pickup time, meet the time commitment and they sell it out from under you. The Mexican restaurant does not stand up well compared to others in the area. Gave Kroger a try. In my opinion, they don't have the quality items that Publix stocks. I tried one of the double cream bries. It tasted exactly like butter. Gave it to hubby to try and asked him what he thought. He said it tasted like butter as well. Purchased a pint of ice cream to find when I returned home that it was almost flash frozen; thus, tasted like ice instead of ice cream. Hard pass on this entire shopping center unless it gets better. Anybody building new shopping centers around here should take a page out of The Battery's playbook as they did it right. read more

I'm giving the new Kroger a 4 due to the fact that it was overdue for a new look. But there few things you will notice, the price is up on many things and the parking lot is smaller than last one. I've noticed that the employees park out front as well which is disappointing cause I would have assumed with all the space they had, the parking would be for customers. They need to do something about park soon. It's very frustrating and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Other than that, thank Kroger for bringing a new look to Powers Ferry. Pls keep it up to pair and fresh. read more

This location just opened 2 days ago. The parking lot was packed. A lot of good sales. Huge variety of items to choose from. High quality comparable to Whole Foods. The only reason I docked a star is the Mac and cheese was advertised as $0.89 a box. When we got home and looked at the receipt it was $1.25 a box. Could have been that was an opening day sale but those signs were still up. read more
