The manager Linda is the most unprofessional and rude person I have ever encountered in my life. I was made a fool of in front of the whole store that was full of patrons. Linda and her staff harassed me and when I attempted to react I was belittled and kicked out of the store because I had my service dog with me. I have attempted to contact the operations manager Amir and I am hoping he reaches out. I pray Linda never has the ability to degrade another human being the way that she degraded me!! read more

Your gas pumps always closed or the trigger is broken and stuck ans the machine NEVER prints a receipt.

BEWARE! Very sketchy place. Filled up my tank and checked the price at the pump then pushed the first button. Noticed the price was higher than expected. Went inside and spoke to the cashier who called the manager. Explained I have been over-charged for gas. Told the manager I always check the price at the pump first and then pushed the first button. The manager tried to convince me that I pressed the third button. I assured him that was not the case, I have never made that mistake. There's a big difference between pushing the first button and the one all the way at the end. I told him there must be a glitch with the pump and it overcharging customers. No resolution was offered. Guess it must be some kind of scam! read more

There are a few reasons I prefer this Ractrac over a few of the other places to fuel my truck in the area, for one it's the first station after exiting Route 46 on Route 441 and because it's located before you get inside the business zones of Tavares and Leesburg so the traffic is easier to manage. The prices are competitive and it never very busy early in the morning when I usually pull in, most of the time I'm the only using the fuel island except for the old man digging through the trash for aluminum cans or an early morning snack... read more

I haven't read the other reviews so not sure why their rating is low, but I stopped here to get gas and use the restroom while I was traveling and I have no complaints about it at all. In fact, I was really pleased with this location and would not hesitate to stop here again in the future. This location looked pretty new so everything was bright and clean and neatly organized. After getting gas I went inside to use the restroom. There was a long line of people waiting to check out, but the line seemed to be moving quickly. The restroom was very clean and stocked with all of the essential supplies. There's nothing worse than using a restroom while you're traveling and have it be dirty. This restroom was sparkling clean! By the time I was finished in the restroom, the line was gone with only one person in it. I was a little hungry so I grabbed a small bag of nuts and went to pay. The cashier was pleasant, not very friendly, but no complaints about her. If I'm ever in the area again, I definitely wouldn't hesitate to stop here again. read more

Store is always clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Manager is always smiling , kind and helpful. I have racetrack that is much closer to me but the store is not clean, staff is grumpy and lazy. I travel to Mt Dora often so I plan to stop by Mt Dora Fl Racetrac during my weekly travels to Lake County. Love the swirl and pizza station and it is always fresh, clean and well taken care of. A typical Racetrac. At night, this Racetrac is the best lit gas station in the vicinity, making me feel safer. The inside of Racetrac is also well lit and bright. The store is spacious, not cramped, with wide aisles. The store is clean, not cluttered, and features attractive displays. The food service area is located in a separate section of the store than the checkouts which avoids overlapping lines. If you are traveling towards Renninger's and Zellwood (away from Donnelly and Eustis), Racetrac is less convenient than the other nearby gas station. Located on the corner 441 and Wolf Branch Road, it is necessary to turn left across 441 using the light, which may add time. Returning to 441 headed in the same direction requires turning left onto Wolf Branch and turning left again at the light. Given Racetrac is on the corner, traffic can back up on Wolf Branch preventing making the left out of the parking light to get in the left hand turn lane during busy times. Going toward Donnelly and Eustis, it is an easy off and on directly from 441. read more

Really suspicious how often the contactless card readers are not working at the pumps

I was very impressed with this location a few years back, it was modern, well-maintained, clean and convenient to the location of a monthly meeting place in Mount Dora. However, on my most recent visit, I noticed that the screens were very difficult to read, the keys didn't work on some of the inputs; and, it took me three tries just to get a full-up of regular unleaded gasoline. At least the printers were working. I did see signs for $.79 cones; and, $.69 hot dogs, so I may be stopping into another Racetrac soon, to take advantage of this summer special savings. read more

If your buying more than one coffee for your pit stop go to the 711 next door. They discontinued and don't have the cardboard multi cup carriers so you would have to do some juggling. Their pizza is priced tie for a gas station pizza and then never have any fresh available. The softserve was not a good quality and contains carrageenan! Very disappointed the old store was better read more
