I use the online order pick up frequently, my experience is usually pretty good, but I would recommend planning ahead on when you plan to pick up, I have been when all the spots are full no place for me to park and I've had to wait 45 minutes plus for my order to the point where I went inside and got it myself. But that was a one off experience and hasn't happened again, so just make sure you go at all hours and you shouldn't have too much of a problem The employees are always so nice. I usually have my dog with me when I pick up and everyone has been so friendly with him. Inside the store is also very clean and easy to navigate, just it's always busy like we all know these stores are, so I prefer the pick up option. read more

I stopped using the curbside because my experience with them has been so bad however, my husband is going through some medical issues and I started using them again just for convenience. Today after a cancer treatment, we swung by to pick up an order. However, my app required me to update and since I was driving between appointments and picking up groceries, I couldn't update the app. So when I got there, I was pretty frustrated and it doesn't take much to put me in tears these days. But the lady came out to deliver some groceries in the car next to mine and she was so very kind and I couldn't stop crying and she helped me to get through even though my app wasn't updating in time. Sam's has been a great money saver for my husband and I! We love to buy our produce in bulk here as well as pantry staples we go through quickly such as nuts, tortillas, and chips. Stopping in for groceries and then a cheap lunch at their concession stand is always a fun time! My only gripe with Sam's is I can't count on them to keep the items I consistently come for on their shelves. We always get their big tub of plain Greek yogurt, but when I went yesterday they didn't even have a spot for it on the shelf. They carry bulk items but not a lot of variety of brands or different versions of those items, so when they quit carrying an item you like it can be hard to find a suitable replacement. It's still fun to browse though and see what new items they're carrying whenever I go. I do think Sam's is a good investment, but for my husband and I it can't replace your average grocery store. It's an added bonus, but we still have to go to Walmart to grab items Sam's doesn't have or a size that's appropriate for just the two of us. read more

I've always been a big fan of Sam's Club, but got to try their pizza just recently. We got a 16" 4 Meat Pizza thanks to a deal with TMobile Tuesdays. And it was so easy to redeem and put our order in. But it did take a while for us to actually receive our pizza. But when it did come, it was hot and delicious! It's definitely more on the doughy side, which I personally like. The toppings are pretty evenly distributed. And it can comfortably feed a group of 4, given you have a side like a salad or something. All that for less than $9 is a really good deal! read more

I used to be a Sam's Club member many moons ago when I lived in Pittsburgh and that was the only member warehouse in town. Once I discovered Costco, I thought Sam's was junk! On a recent return, I changed my mind. I thought the quality of products at Sam's has greatly improved in the past 10 or so years. Maybe it's because Walmart has also upped its game too. They also have good prices on Gasoline although the way the line works at this location kinda sucks. I don't know how to describe it other than that. It's probably OK with no line, but it's hard to gauge which line to get into before they split. I'll return to Sam's club for sure now that I'm a member. Waited in line at the cafe for over FORTY (40!!!) minutes, while at least 40 people were served through the scan an go line (about 15 in front of us when we got in line). It was like there was no manager. Employees using their phones with gloves on while they prepared the food, nobody assigned to managing the to go orders, registers, ice cream machine etc. They were all doing them at the same time, which was super inefficient. This particular location is located on the corner of East Colonial Drive and North Goldenrod Road. Sam's Club is a wholesale club and like most of the wholesale clubs, they have some things that are priced very competitively and some things that are priced nothing special. Definitely check out their gas prices here. Very good pricing. I would definitely recommend a visit here. Love the discounted gas prices. There's usually a wait, but the line moves pretty quickly. The pumps' hoses are long enough to reach your gas tank no matter which side you pull up on. I really like the Scan & Go feature...no need to wait in line to pay for your purchases. Getting in and out of the parking lot can be a challenge, but the proximity to my residence makes it worth the stress and hassle. Fantastic variety! The Sam's Club is pretty clean. I don't really see any issues with it. I've been a Sam's Club member for 10 years now I sometimes just go inside and browse everything and then get a little snack on my way out in the little cafeteria. Part of my tradition of going to Sam's Club is always getting a hotdog or a pizza slice in the little cafeteria. The prices are insanely good for the food that they have there. It's extremely cheap. I personally, prefer these hotdogs than other competitors hotdogs. Recently went to Sam's to get some groceries and other house hold needs. When I went to check out I did the self check out. The system froze and had to go look around for a store employee to help out once I found a lady I explained to her the issue she said zero words to me was extremely rude when I asked a question about what happens if my payment went thru already and I have to go thru another line she was rude and did not even acknowledge the question I asked for the manager a store lead came older Hispanic women with glasses also just as rude would not let me explain what happened so I asked for the actual manager finally she came out before I could I even speak the lead goes on and tells her I was going to walk out with out paying and telling her much more I was shocked while trying to speak to the manager the lead continues to interrupt all I was asking if I go thru another line actual line will I be okay because the money was pulled from my account b4 the system freezing the manager was more understanding told me it will return they just had to cancel it she had to reboot the system and I was good to go. Could have avoided all that if they would have just did what the manager did. Super unprofessional team upfront one is Muslim the other was Hispanic I myself am a manager to a grocery store I would never speak like that to any of my customers nor allow my staff to. Mostly, it's to get a great deal on bottled water and tortilla chips. We also buy our toilet paper and paper towels here. Bulk is the way to go for certain items. I am most impressed with the new app that you can download on your phone. As you shop, you scan your items and, when done, pay for your stuff OVER THE PHONE!!!!! You don't have to even stand in line. The app gives you a barcode that is scanned on the way out. So, now you have more time to enjoy a hot dog, pretzel, slice of pizza, even sushi in some places. And, for dessert, you have the classic ice cream or berry sundae... OH and they have churros too. Sam's makes it convenient to shop for what you need, like bouquets of flowers, rotisserie chicken and you must check out the bakery section. The bakery offers custom made cakes and ready to pick up cakes and cup cakes for your party needs. I love getting the cupcakes because they are a great deal. Sams Club convinced me that I was leaving the glasses in the car & the sun & heat damaged the coatings on the lenses. So, for the past 20 yrs., I have purchased several highend hard cases & I now carry my glasses in my purse. I never leave my purse in my car. All the glass. lenses continue to peel & bubble. I'm scared to visit the Sam's Club again... I'm not sure if it's the area, but it seriously looks outdated and as if The Walking Dead took over this store. Nothing against the employees.... It just seems like the store is abandoned, lacking of regular products and empty. Employees were friendly, although I saw one or two being confrontational with clients, but I guess the clients were being jerks too. That's why I think it's maybe a location issue. Because I'm single, childless, and do NOT drive an SUV, I have never felt the need to buy in bulk. Today, while waiting for my new tires to be put on - Friday morning is definitely the time to go - I was walking around and the appeal started to grow. A massive box of Starbucks Holiday Blend for $22 (what?!). A box of Barilla pasta - with 3 different types of pasta in the box (genius!). My tendency at a large wholesale warehouse is to buy a soda and a hot dog for $1.50 and bounce. But who among us can really afford to pass up discounted gift cards in the same building as massive trays of brownies and cupcakes? Shout out to Glen in the tire center for great customer service and Mary in Member Services for the same. As a whole experience, Sam's is like that distant cousin I see once or twice a year, enjoy, and then leave behind with a smile after having consumed way too much pizza. read more

Watch out for the scammed at this sams club tire dept.i went last Wednesday night about 6pm.i had a nail in my tire. I purchased the tires from Sam's. After 10 mins they called and said the tire was not repairable, the nail was in the sidewall. I didn't think it was, I saw it in the tread, but I didn't question. I walked back over to the dept and said, ok the tires are not that old, so I should be able to purchase a replacement at a pro-rated price. I didn't have my papers with me at the time, but they have all the info on the account. He told me the tires were over 3 years old, and that I have driven on them way too many miles. I asked for my keys and left. I went home and found the paperwork from the purchase of the tires. I purchased them on 3-11-2022. (That's 2 years and 2 months). The milage on the car when I purchased the tires was 35,900, the milage on the car when I went in with the nail 60,600 (that's just under 25,000). They thought they were going to scam me into purchasing new tires. I took the car to another sams. The nail was not in the sidewall and the ture was repaired at no cost. This is the closest location to where I live. Parking isn't bad and the shop is very big. This is during time of COVID 19, we grab a cart to wait in line to enter the store and then when you get to the entrance, a staff member cleaned off the cart (was it cleaned when I grabbed it?) Hand washing station available at the entrance. Lines were long but moved quickly and seem less checkout. Most of the items I needed in stock but the flow of the store is somewhat choppy compared to South Florida location (Coral Springs). Overall not a bad experience and they had what I needed. I called the store, pushed '0' for customer svc, got the tire dept. Maria gave another number to call, she gave me the number to WALGREENS. I called back another person told me Maria not there today and left me on hold. Hung up, called back '0' for customer svc. Rings, rings, rings no answer then it disconnects. I did this 3 times. My go to place to buy my meats. You know you are getting quality fresh meat and it's for such a good price! At home we always make enough for lunch the next day and we eat alot of certain items (chicken, steak, turkey, vegetables and eggs) that I love getting enough of one item to last me for at least 2 weeks. DO NOT USE SAM'S CLUB TRAVEL and ENTERTAINMENT . I used Sam's Club Travel and Entertainment for a hotel booking. Come to find out my credit card was charged by Sam's Club and charged by the hotel. Interestingly, the hotel charged me $169 less than Sam's club. When I contacted Sam's club regarding this issue their standard response was they will contact me within 72 hours. They never contacted me at all after reaching out to them 4 times within a 3 week time frame. I finally reached out to the hotel even though I booked through Sam's club and the hotel contacted me back within 10 minutes and refunded me my money Immediately. Unfortunately Sam's club kept their extra fees of almost $200, which I still can not get a response from them regarding this issue.
