5 Star Racetrack!!! The Racetrack off Sand Lake Road, near the Florida Mall, is superb! This location is clean, the store is well organized, and the staff is very friendly! Not only do they offer the typical gas convenient store offerings (hot dogs, donuts, nachos), they have a frozen yogurt station and many grab-n-go options. Also, their gas pumps are new and work fast! My gas tank was on E, and I was able to fill-up and pay before my song ended. Their prices are very competitive compared to surrounding gas stations near by.

I pulled into Wawa close to the Orlando International Airport, and I can tell you now, it was a…read morehuge relief! It was an extremely early Sunday morning flight and I needed to fill up for gas as I had to drop my rental car back with Alamo Rent A Car. I thought it would be simple enough to just find a station, until I found out that almost all of the gas stations around the airport including Shell were closed by 4:00 AM. As soon as I pulled in to Wawa, I noticed the store was available! The store had plenty of light, was open and there was traffic, so it felt like a place where someone could get something quickly at such an early time. All of the pumps worked, there were no long lines, and it was very clean and very easy to use exactly what I wanted at that time of day while I was tired from lack of sleep and had to rush to make my flight. Although my primary reason for stopping at Wawa was to get gas, I found myself going in to grab a quick snack and it felt like I had walked into a convenience store café rather than just a quick stop. They were fully stocked with all the products, their items were clearly labeled and organized, and even though it was very early in the day, everything looked very clean and fresh! That particular Wawa ultimately ended up being one of those unique experiences while traveling. While every other place around it was closed, Wawa provided me with what I needed gas, snacks, and allowed us to begin our airport drop off process smoothly. If you are flying out of Orlando on an early flight with a car rental, keep them in mind as a reliable option if your first choice is unavailable!

Wawa is a great option and has become my preferred gas station here in Florida. Now, I was familiar…read morewith Wawa before moving to Florida back in 2001. I grew up in New Jersey and I was familiar with Wawa. When Wawa expanded into the Florida market, I knew it was great news and a reason to rejoice and celebrate. Wawa is much more than a gas station. When you walk into a Wawa, you will find the normal assortment of convenience store merchandise that you would expect from a gas station, but it is the food counter that draws the attention of most. This food counter offers a nice selection of food, but what gets the most attention is their subs, which since Wawa originated in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area, they call them by the term hoagie. Whether you want to call this iconic sandwich a sub or a hoagie, Wawa does a pretty good job with them, especially when you consider that these subs are coming from a gas station. Walking into these bright oasis of goodness at an early hour put me in a good mood and the brightly lit ambiance of the gas station kind of brought that lightness into .y soul on this early morning. I would definitely recommend Wawa.
