This is a busy, high-traffic gas station/convenience store on Pelham Pkwy near Stonehaven Trail. The store itself went under new management a few years ago and was completely refurbished. They added HD display screens everywhere, new beverage machines, and have even rented out space to a small, full-service Mexican cafe that serves authentic Mexican cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This place is less than a mile from where I live, so I'm here once a week or more, either gassing up or or buying something inside the store. Considering how busy this place is, they keep it immaculately clean and well stocked--there's always some employee out on the floor doing something to make the shopping experience better. As far as gas station convenience stores go, I have a consistently-good experience here. read more

Kind of an interesting location. If you are heading from Alabaster to Pelham your entrance is actually through the parking lot of a tire place. If you are heading from Pelham to Alabaster then there is a shared driveway with a Good Will Book Outlet. Once you get past the strange entrance, I'd go as far as to say this place is very similar to most other Raceway locations. Raceway tends to be on the larger side of gas stations, so you can have a lot of people here and not have waits. With the interesting way you access, you may not want to bring a trailer in, but otherwise it is pretty large and spacious. Gas prices are the lowest that you'll find in the area ... so big plus there. The store itself is pretty spacious and has the typical convenience store offerings at your disposal. They also have a little bit of car maintenance items (oil, transmission fluid, etc). All in all not a bad location and I don't mind stopping here. Probably not super easy to get out of here if you're heading towards Pelham during work commute hours. read more

Best yogurt ever. Forget the gas. Just go get their yogurt. You will not be disappointed.

I bought gas from one of your establishments and I tell you I got $39.00 worth of gas and was charge $125.00. I guess it's too bad now I can't buy groceries for my kids. This is wrong on so many levels. I will NEVER purchase from your business and will assure all my friends and family know how you run your business. The manager was rude and dismissive. She definitely didn't show any respect. It was very insulting to me. I try to put money back into my community but pretty much told me well that's just tough. Not smart read more

I don't know what happened to this place. New management or they've just gotten really cheap. They never have receipt paper in the pumps and you have to go inside if you want a receipt and you better know your totals because the person who's been working the register lately can't seem to figure out which one is your receipt by looking at the time stamp. Everybody else can, but, this guy can only print your receipt if you know what the total charge was at your pump. Remember it because you have to be exactly right or he won't print it. Not to mention that you've had to wait in line to get the receipt to start with. SLOWEST cashier EVER!!!!! I fill up my gas tank twice a week and I've put up with this sh** for the past 2 to 3 months because this is the closest gas station to where I live. Well, that's going to stop. I've finally given up the ghost on this place!!! read more

I will not be going back to the raceway in Pelham on highway 31 today my son was on his motorcycle & a horrible storm came up right as traffic wasn't moving because of rush hour so he stopped to get out of the rain while he waited outside for a little while to dry off before going in & purchasing several items then preceded to wait until the rain stopped & trying to dry off before he left. The attendant told him he would have to leave because what he was doing was wrong & his manager watched the camera. So as a customer of this establishment had to get back on his bike in the rain & leave. He wasn't soliciting he was a paying customer but we will not be back again & I will tell everyone I can not to do business there. read more
