4.5 During my four…read moreday stay in Marbella, I ate at Celicioso four times - I think that statement says enough. Besides the convenience from being right across the street from our hotel, it really had everything you could ever want. Advertised as a bakery, they also have dishes for every meal of the day (most of them healthy!), and are open all day and night. They have a great indoor/outdoor area with comfortable seating, and it gives off the perfect vibe to stay for a while. For real, their menu encompasses just about everything. They have eggs, toasts, acai bowls and pancakes for breakfast. For lunch and dinners, their menu ranges from salads, sandwiches, pastas, and more! Everything seems to made with wholesome ingredients, and most of the menu (if not all) is gluten-free. Some of the favorites were: falafel, sweet potatoes, mykonos salad, and chicken salad. SWEET POTATOES // These chips are perfectly thin and crispy, without the greasy film you get from most chips. They are a great addition to any meal. FALAFEL // These falafel nuggets don't taste like your traditional falafels, and are a bit softer, but are still tasty nonetheless. They are also served with 3 dipping sauces we all enjoyed! MYKONOS // This greek salad was incredibly fresh. It comes with just the basics: cucumber, tomato, red onion, olives, green bell pepper, and feta cheese. It's also possible to add chicken (it comes chopped up!) to add some extra protein to the salad. CHICEKN SALAD // Another simple, yet fabulous salad - pepper arugula, shaved parmesan cheese, and pieces of chicken with a heavy rosemary flavor. This was super light and simple, but with flavors that stood their own. VEGGIE BURGER // This was one dish I didn't care for. It was mushy and fell apart easily, and didn't resemble a hamburger like many veggie burgers do. It's not something I would order again. The service at Celicioso was inconsistent. With smaller parties, they were very on-top of it, but struggled with larger groups. On some trips, the food came out quickly, and others we had to wait awhile. Regardless, Celicioso was always open and reliable, and it was the perfect spot on our trip!

Victor's Beach Bar is one of the most beautiful locations in Marbella, Spain…read more The food is decent to good and of course the ambience (being on the beach) is wonderful. The service was weak at best, as it wasn't that busy and most of the staff were not attentive: * Wine glasses stayed empty * Finished dishes were not picked up * The food coming out of the kitchen was irregular; some dishes coming out at warp speed and some not coming out at all But, at least it was expensive!!!!! I had been here before several years ago and still love the location, but this place seemed tired. That being said, I still probably come back here for "Old Time Sake"!

Nothing fancy, there are definitely some fancy places to pick from which made us want to try this place even more. The reviews on trip advisor and yelp say it's tourist trap. Maybe it is but you know what you're signing up for. That didn't stop us. Love the history and love going to something not fancy. The drinks and food are a little more expensive compared to non-touristy areas of Marbella but that applies to the entire area. We stopped in and sat oceanfront. We started off with a pitcher of sangria, bread, and olives. My husband and I ordered seafood - Victor's special and the grilled hatke. Both were so good! Mild, white fish freshly made. How is that not amazing?! As a California, my Spanish is more Latin America versus Spanish from Spain. No problem. They servers spoke Spanish and English. Solid spot. Would return!

The menu was in English on one side. I initially though the food selection was breakfast oriented. Then when our local friend came, she said there is also a lunch menu and asked for it. I started off with the banging beet- beet, carrot, apple juice. It's my favorite and I was excited to see that they had it. The juice came in a mason jar with a screw to lid that had an opening for the straw. There was more carrot and beet than apple (or the apples weren't sweet) but it was good. I ordered the chicken sandwich but with spinach added and the salad as my side. He waiter spoke a little English. The sandwich was good and a very good portion. The hunks of warm melted Brie complimented the tart apple slices. The spinach was perfectly wilted on top but underneath the arugula. Overall I liked the flavor. One friend had the burger and he said it was really good. It looked good and had bacon. I liked his french fries.

Easy location to find in Puerto Banus…read more.. Living in Spain for over a year, so my friends and I were in dire need of some comfort food. We split the jumbo combo and got extra wings. Order the wings plain as they fry it to a nice crisp. If you have to pick a sauce, go with the tangy. So good! (Unlimited refills also on soda beverages) The staff were very friendly with our group of 7. For my US Military friends who visit here, show them your ID and they will give you a discount at their discretion. We found out that all of the HRCs do this, and a great gesture on their end. Good location and they validate parking for 2 hours if you park in the garage closest to them.

The Hard Rock's location is central in Puerto Banus. If you park in the park garage directly behind it (across Corte de Engles) and spend 40€ on food, drink, souvenirs, your parking is free for 2 hours. You just have to ask for the validated parking. The Cafe has NO view of the beach. Service varies. I have been coming here since 2015, and do not recognize a server from previous years. Many of the servers are not from Spain. A plethora of languages are spoken with English dominate. Service can be poor, adequate or very good. On today's visit, we had a good Spanish waiter! He was attentive without being overly so and the order was correct. Food quality here also runs the gamut. Today, we only ordered nachos with a side of guacamole. They were the best I have had at this HRC, and the portion was huge. Two of us ate about 1/3 of them. They are probably better for 4 people to share. Drinks are pricey. Foo-foo drinks run 17€. We had a sparkling water and an alcohol free beer which were 8€, or about double most restaurants. I mostly feel this HRC could be so much more. As it is, I am surprised it survives.
