Specializing in Men's and Women's clothing they change the stock on hand to match the season. Currently it's end of January and they are having clearance sales on all of the winter stuff (even though it's like 40 degrees outside) and getting out shorts and t-shirts. Good selection of product available here, even though they don't have a lot of space. Staff didn't go out of their way to offer support, but when we walked by the registers/check out they were courteous and said hi. If I'm already in the mall I would come by here again. Probably wouldn't make a special trip to the mall just to come here though.

I haven't see any major pile up of stock or trash. The workers aren't outgoing with their customer service, but most TJ Maxx employees are busy stocking or checking out customers. I think the prices are also a reasonable value compared to other locations.

This is another one of those places where they set the standard for themselves (along with other…read morediscount stores that are similar in nature). This one is probably my favorite Ross location. Something about this store just feels better than other locations. It always seems to be very clean and even though it's organized just like all the other locations I've been in over time, it just seems to have more space available to display the products. Just like all the other locations they have Men's, Women's, Children's, Household items, and occasionally a mixture of other items (exercise, toys, jewelry, etc.) Typically not a lot of staff working so check out can take a few minutes, but that's really about the only negative. Also, keep in mind that selection varies a lot even from store to store and changes up based on what the current season is.

Prices are good, and the clearance racks are even better if you can find something you like in your size there! I deducted one star (and I wanted to deduct 100 stars) because of the fitting room situation. They moved it to the front of the store, two tiny cubicles and we had to wait forever in line to try stuff on! That was from before Christmas until last month. The most recent trip I noticed there was the regular fitting rooms in the back (which are plentiful) were open with an attendant. So I'm not giving the star back but at least I didn't deduct 100 ... so that's fair I think! Typically the attitude going in here should be "I'm just looking" as it's hit or miss when you have something very specific in mind. So first of all, what is Hammer's? It's a men's and women's clothing discount store - there are a few other random things here, but at it's core - discount clothing. In many instances the store has the look and feel that the styles they have are probably from a couple seasons ago, which is probably why they offer discounts as high as 70% (and maybe more) off of the listed price. They do have some name brands in both men's and women's areas, just nothing that overly excited me. The store could use a little bit of an overhaul, it has a kind of dingy feel about it. They do have dressing rooms that are open, so that is a plus if you find something you want to try on. No interactions with the staff because we didn't make any purchases. I probably wouldn't be in a rush to come back. I would add that they do have the look and feel of a place that rotates stock on a fairly regular basis.

That being said it's kind of nice that there is room to walk around what they do have on hand. The Rainbow City location is so jam packed it can actually be hard to walk though and look at their stuff. If you're into team gear (Bama and what ever that other team is) they have a really expansive dedicated space for shirts, coats, hoodies, and misc gear. Just like other department stores they have a good selection of men's, women's and children clothing as well as some household items. Shoe department looks like they are still adding stuff in and will probably grow over the next couple months. Several spots to check out make it nice and easy .... plus help to keep lines down. Also, as of January 2021 you aren't able to enter on the Books A Million side, you have to park on the Belk/Food Court side and enter through those doors. Recommended for clothing shopping.

Ran out here to see if they still had what she was after, unfortunately they didn't. But, I was introduced to a new building supply house that seems to be pretty well stocked and carries a wide variety of tools and materials to accomplish projects around the house. Prices seem to be on par with other building supply places, if not a little better. Store has a nice open feel to it and is clean and organized. Staff we're helpful and directed me to the area that I'd want to check and see if they had what I was looking for (didn't have a brand name just a description). Overall a pretty good location, if I was closer I'd for sure shop here more.
