She does all the adjustments I ask for every time I go in (from my jaw to my toes) and always leaves me feeling better. She understands that I have a limited number of appointments allowed by my insurance, and doesn't push me to come more often than I can afford. She's kind, personable, and interested in my overall well-being. She's also a nutritionist, and is open to any and all of my questions! She makes suggestions of things I can try to help heal my other ailments. She offers high-quality supplements at reasonable prices. One time, I took a supplement and had a weird reaction to it. Dr. Sullivan asked me to bring the bottle back in so she could take them herself and see if it happened to her, too. She not only gave me a full refund, but was willing to risk having the same reaction herself to make sure it was just a fluke and not something wrong with the supplements. Take my word for it...she really cares. (Turns out it was me...not the supplements. Go figure.) Her office is always offering freebies, including raffles and free chair massages! People answering phones and making appointments are the gateway to a practice and should, or one would think and hope, possess stellar customer service skills. It befuddles me, therefore, how there are can be so many wonderful applicants to choose from (especially now with the unemployment rate at a record high) and the one who is selected can be so lacking. Such is the case here. Called to make an appointment and had an especially upsetting experience with a young woman (Payton or Peyton or something like that). Stressed out already by pain in my foot and the current Covid situation and she not only added to that but increased it exponentially. She was condescending and rude and left me feeling humiliated and stuck by the time our conversation ended. I needed to see a Podiatrist and was hoping it would be Dr. Scheffel. But sadly, because he may be quite competent, I opted to look elsewhere.......where friendlier, more helpful and professional office personnel exist. Perhaps Dr. Scheffel will rethink or retrain his choice?!
