I saw that there was a sign on the door saying their reception doesn't start until 9am, their sign was inside and there was no one at reception. No one answered or came out when I rang the buzzer so I left. I assumed they had closed because of the snow. The appointment reminder email I received had no information about reception starting at 9am. The email did said don't show up more than 5 minutes before your appointment but then someone should open the door. I couldn't go back because I had gotten a ride there and didn't have time to wait around for someone to maybe open the door because the person dropping me off had somewhere to be. I called within 10 minutes and got charged a no-show fee even though I was there, just no one opened the door. I'm not waiting around in the snow for a business that should be open to open the door for me when they look closed and empty, especially if I had booked an appointment well in advance. The receptionist said, "It's JUST $30 plus GST." That's still money and your staff may have lost money but so did I - I had to take extra time off work and waste time commuting. Perhaps consider staffing the office appropriately at appointment times instead of making clients pay the price of your ineptitude. Take responsibility for your mistakes and poor planning.

This place is amazing !!!!! 1)It is conveniently located at the corner of King Edward and Oak street and they have free parking at the side as well as underground. 2)The manager is super friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and will patiently answer all your questions. 3)Julia is amazingly skilled at being a massage therapist, as well as passionate at it. I was able to tell her about the pain in my left arm as well as my neck and she listened attentively. She was then able to target specific areas as well as other muscles I have over-extended and didn't know. She also showed me some helpful preventative exercises to do with my arm. 4)The over all place was clean and the rooms were very welcoming. A bonus that they have a sauna that you can use for free before or after your appointment :) 5)Her prices are extremely reasonable compared to other places. 6)Booking an appointment with her around your busy schedule is hassle free and she is very accommodating with time slots. Friendly and positively beaming with such passion and talent for massage, Julia has gone above and beyond my expectations during both my visits so far. Her facility is clean, comfortable and convenient to get to, with free customer parking around the corner of the building on King Ed. If you have time to spare, you could even stay to use the sauna and shower on-site. Rates at CC Massage are among the lowest I've seen for an RMT in Vancouver but quality of care and service are among the best. Julia is very accommodating with scheduling, though when word gets out about how great she is, appointments may become harder to get by so I'd give her a call sooner than later. They were able to fit me in right away and after a year's worth of massages to solve my soft tissue damage issue, I remain a loyal client. The office is very clean, the staff is extremely friendly, and they are never running behind. The prices they charge are no more than the recommended fees set out my their regulatory body which means you are getting great value. The therapists are professional and really listen to your needs and concerns. I am still a monthly client of Lionel's 3.5 years later and I would recommend him to everyone.

Normally certified bodyworkers at other establishments charge $80-$100 an hour. Example: Barefoot Oasis Spa 1 block away only charges $80 an hour. So while they are clean and professional, my qualm is that they are way over priced for bodywork service they provide. Tip: Make sure you shop around on price and quality.

It's subdivided into a few smaller rooms where the walls don't go to the ceiling, which looks kind of unimpressive on the outside, but the insides are pleasant and white and have a sort of pleated paper type of ceiling that is actually rather lovely - it's a little like being in a nicely-lit tent at a festival or something like that. Noodly jazz music made for a relaxed atmosphere. You can hear the B-line going by outside, but this is an RMT clinic, not a luxury spa - it's about getting down to business and fixing what hurts. My massage was excellent - Arian's got good hands and an instinct for honing in on the spots that need it. He showed me a few stretches afterwards as well that should help me in the future.
