Was very rude when I asked if they would be on skipthedishes. They told me I was an idiot, they have thier own app and was again, very, very rude. I only asked so I can add them to my airbnb quick order list. It would have been great business for them but they seem legit crazy... Weeks later they where on skip the dishes... so they are stupid and rude. read more

Glory, Glory, Hallelujah, there is healthy REAL food in Timmins! After spending a couple days in town I just couldn't bring myself to eat at another chain or food truck slinging burgers and fries. So I opened up the trusty Google maps and what do I see? A place called Radical Gardens. Well "Damn, that's right up my ally," I thought to myself. So I check out their website and I see organic farm to table goodness but no menu. Hmm, well that's because everything is made fresh daily depending on what LOCAL ingredients they have. Shut the front door, I found my people! So I make the mile and half trek and find this super cute hipster food joint, complete with a great patio for outdoor seating. So I check out the menu board and while the burger sounded EPIC (local meat!) it was too hot for hot food and I went with the Ahi Poke bowl. It was DIVINE! It tasted impossibly fresh. A simple dish, allowing the ingredients to speak for themselves (rice, green onions, cucumber, siracha, edamame, jalapeno, cilantro, sesame, tuna, and ponzu sauce). OMP, this is the perfect summer food. Oh and hey! There was a dessert case full of made-from-scratch goodness. I got a piece of lemon cake to go, there was no room left in my belly but I knew I would want it later! The cake was also AMAZING. Worth going for all on its own. So if you can't tell by my excitement level - this place is a MUST if you are in Timmins. read more

You would never expect the quality of food from judging this restaurant from the outside. I was in Timmins for work and a customer recommended I try the place. I ordered the Pickle Back burger and fries and they were fantastic! The burger was crafted exquisitely and the toppings were an explosion of flavour! The hand cut fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned. I would not usually order dessert, but the homemade cheese cake options were too hard to pass up. I tired the butter tart cheesecake... delicious and completely indulgent. I will definitely go back the next time I'm in Timmins. read more

Stopped here after reading the other Yelp reviews and we went disappointed. The staff was super friendly and helpful... not only with suggestions for eats, but also things to do u in the area. The pastry treats (butter tarts and Texas Gold square) were rich but still light and perfectly portioned at a reasonably price. The coffee was hot and fresh. Looking for not-a-chain place for a quick supper on the road, we found the Radical Garden Market on Yelp and decided to give it a try. We almost did it go in as it appeared to truly be more market than restaurant, but we decided we better go in and check it out. It's a small corner store with local foods (I saw pickles, wild rice, fresh meat, a bakery case, bread and local eggs and I am sure there was more, but I was looking for supper, not groceries.....) Happily it also had a small menu of food and a few small tables. Food can be take out or eaten there. We ordered the "Firecracker chicken bowl" and were pleasantly surprised by a large serving (which we split) of rice, chicken, carrots, celery and onions with a spicy (but not too spicy) sauce. It was delicious! The owner/cook was great and fun to talk to. We'll stop again if we find ourself driving through Timmins. read more

What a cool place! The menu is small and the restaurant was quite busy when we went, but it was worth the wait! We came for the locally sourced food and fresh ingredients and were not disappointed. Words cannot describe how awesome the food is. I am from California on a business trip out here in Timmins. Few of my colleagues ranted and raved about this place. I must say Radical Gardens is one of my go to spots now. Everything is sourced locally and damn! Those turkey sliders and Rainbow burger are on another level!
