Jordan Lumber was recommended to us and I have to say we were very pleased with them. They did a great job matching the new wood to the old wood. It was a bit of a longer process, but well worth it in the end. Took about a week total to tear out the tile, get down to the subfloor, and lay the new floors. Then our hardwood had to "acclimate" for a couple of weeks before the sanding, finishing and staining (which took another week). Start to finish about a month. But the floors look awesome and we are very pleased with them. The team at Jordan Lumber was easy to talk to, quick to respond the calls and emails, and clearly presented your different options. Would highly recommend them.

Return mail from our new address (that included a very important document) was ignored - no one at Lanier called us to ask why it was returned to them. We were also supposed to receive information from the county about the primary residence application, but never did, so that was likely returned to sender as well, but of course we didn't know about it - no one at Lanier bothered to pick up a phone to call us about their mail being returned! I expressed my and my husband's deep disappointment to Lanier, and there was no offer to cover the penalty, or even contribute to it! When you're in the business of doing real estate closings, it is important to keep in mind that people are at an incredibly busy, exhausting, and stressful point in their lives - they need real instruction on EXACTLY what they need to do, and WHEN, to avoid financial consequences. If feels like our money was taken, the closing completed, and GOODBYE. Attorneys have a fiduciary responsibility to look out for their clients. It didn't happen here, and we're left holding the bag.
