Booked a table for two for my birthday days in advance,- for 6 p.m -guaranteed a window seat, only to have that prioritised by a group booking, and offered a seat at the back near a noisy bar. Not good enough, and when I expressed my disappointment
t telling them it was my birthday and was assured of a window seat, was treated rudely by staff. We decided to not bother, and got up and left. Never seen anything like it. After a decade of living locally and deciding to treat ourselves, I won't ever bother with this place, having left almost in tears for a potential night ruined, (My 11 year old daughter had been so excited at going to a 'fancy restaurant' doing my makeup well in advance, we were dressed to the hilt.) We instead jumped in a cab over to Kirribilli and I was met by lovely punjabi hospitality of Grace of India, where we spent $120 for a lovely banquet with window seat, treated like royalty. Radio Cairo, what a joke, doubtful I will ever set foot in this 'establishment' ever again. Has left a very bad impression on me, and my daughter, and I will tell my friends and anyone else who cares to read reviews. read more
