Kevin was incredibly professional, organized, and responsive. He happily learned the songs that we requested for our wedding ceremony (I Choose You by Sara Bareilles, Boom Clap by Charli XCX, and Dawn from the Pride & Prejudice soundtrack) and they came out beautifully! He played for 30 minutes prior to our ceremony start time to keep our guests entertained. I got to overhear a bit of it as we returned from pre-ceremony photos and the music was absolutely enchanting! He also played for our processional and recessional. It was so fun to have live music! From the minute they started to the final song of their set-list, the Big Day Players truly rocked it and turned our reception into a full-out dance party we'll never forget! From Tom Petty, Springsteen and the Stones, to Prince and Michael Jackson, all the way through to Bruno Mars, Talking Heads and Foster the People, the Big Day Players delivered impeccably and with style. They already had a pretty large list of songs in their repertoire and they were willing to learn several new songs to make the evening extra special for us (including the Groom/Mother dance). The band visited the venue with us a few weeks before the wedding to ensure they would have all the right equipment and be prepared on the big day. I have heard him DJ a lot in the past so I had no doubt in my mind that he would do a great job at my wedding. He arrived three hours early in order to make sure that all the DJ equipment was set up, working properly and ready to go before my guests arrived. Once he was done setting up he changed clothes & was dressed in a suit. I was impressed. "Looking sharp Tempest!" I said to him as my groomsman and I were walking around the property and taking pre-ceremony pictures with the photographer. Once the ceremony got underway DJ Tempest began to play the music. From ceremony up until dinner time he played fun upbeat music for my guests as they mingled. Once it was time for dinner he played some mellow, classic songs that everyone could relax & enjoy while eating dinner. I had sent him a request list a week in advance and he played all of the song requests that I asked for. Once it was time for the first dance and all of the important songs, he delivered. He Dj'd and MC'd a little when needed, everything went smoothly and as planned. There was no hiccups and he kept the party going until the very end of the night.
