After weeks of researching new churches, this was at the top of my list. It was probably one of the…read morebest experiences I have ever had at a church. They offer this "VIP Experience" for first time visitors where you truly feel like they are happy you have chosen to attend. We were walked through the children's area where we checked in our daughter. What I loved initially was that there is a system in place to ensure no one can just come in and take a child without having a numbered pass that matches the name tag given to the parent. They went a step further and provided my child with a name tag showing the other kids that it was her first time so that she could feel welcomed and truly have a great first time visit. The service was absolutely great and the pastors sense of humor and incorporation of jokes was a breath of fresh air compared to more traditional churches I have attended in the past; not to mention the worship band was absolutely amazing! At the end of the services, we all received a welcome gift, to include one for my child and we were introduced to the campus pastor and his wife. You can tell that this is such a loving environment to be a part of and it just may very well become our home church

(I just don't feel "right" judging a church service. The congregation wore anything from traditional "church attire" to blue jeans, with some even in shorts and tshirts. It was a casual atmosphere. There are no hymnals, all songs are projected onto the wall near the pulpit. There didn't seem to be a choir, but there was a contemporary band to accompany the songs. Women were leading the hymns and singing portion of the service. This is not to judge the service, again, just an overview of the service. Worship is a personal experience and not everyone likes to worship the same. I like the casual dressing and atmosphere, where some people do not. It was a pleasant experience and worth a visit if you are looking for a church home.

Everyone was welcoming, and finding a seat was not an issue. There were three police officers just as a safety precaution, but it was nice to have their presence. You will laugh, be convicted, and strengthened all at the same time! They have different classes downstairs for your kids to attend while you worship in the main worship area upstairs free from distractions that kids can definitely cause! Lol! The classes range from infant to kindergarten age. They have a easy sign in process for the kids at a little laptop which after entering your kids info, it'll print out stickers where one you'll stick on your child that identifies their name, age, and class and the other sticker is identical that will go to the teacher. You also get 2 other stickers that you must show when picking up your kids, which keeps the safety for your kids so some random person can't take off with your kid(s). The worship is refreshing and they sing a lot of contemporary Christian songs that is easy to sing along to, and they also have projector screens that show the words just in case someone doesn't know. It's a multicultural church and they are big into mission work. I could go on and on but overall it's a wonderful church to be a part of!

Pastor John Hoppe lll and associate pastor Mike Nimer teach the Bible versus by versus. The church has many opportunities for believers to get involved in evolved in multiple ministries. They offer two services on Sundays and a midweek service on Wednesdays. I'm sure that we will be back in near future and will recommend them for friends and family members who want a great experience.

When folks sin against each other (which will happen, because we're all sinners, that is reality), we don't bail. We don't walk out. We reconcile. Confronting sin, repentance, and reconciliation are regularly emphasized from the pulpit. If, when looking for a church, you prioritize music, teaching style, and aesthetic over the Gospel being lived and preached, this is not the church for you. If you want to be a part of a beautiful family of screw ups in need of Jesus, this can be your home.

No other place have I felt like I can be totally honest with people and not be turned away for being too sinful. The people here are friendly, and embrace what having a community of brothers and sisters means. My problems are their problems too and so many people have been spiritually, emotionally and physically supportive. This place is also not going to be popular. Sometimes I get mad at the pastor teaching on stage and telling me that my life or my heart are on the wrong path or something that I think is ok is not ok in God's eyes. But I'm so thankful that the pastoral team does not hold back from topics that I find uncomfortable and bring us all into repentance and follow Jesus. If your looking for that, I suggest this place. If you want to have people tell you that you're ok and you can keep living in sin and God doesn't care about how you live or finding grace for your sin, then this probably will be a hard place for you to visit because the people here will love you a lot but let you know about the things that are destroying your soul. So check them out and theirs also two other locations in Lexington and on Two Notch Rd. Upon discovering 1,200 un-churched families, we began to contact them through the mail and invite each one to our first service. During those early days, the church continued to meet at the school. As the membership began to grow, the search for property on which a permanent facility would be built was under way. After much seeking and praying, the Lord made possible the purchase of 13 beautiful acres dotted with pecan trees. We built a 46,000 sq. ft. of space to provide a Worship Center, Preschool facility, and a Children's ministry area. We have turned the old auditorium into the Student Center with a cafe and a game area. We are excited about our space and look forward to filling it up.
