I want to clarify first that I'd actually give 4.5 stars but they had a big task with my car so it's understandable. I hadn't gotten my car detailed in a few years and there were old hard water spots and the car had been through a few storms in an uncovered parking spot. They did a fantastic job on my car getting it shining so that you could actually see the color of the car again. The inside was well vacuumed and cleaned off except for the middle of the front windshield where it was difficult to reach and a couple spots in the trunk that my personal items were in. Can I give 10 stars? I take my car to a car wash and 1 hour later it's clean, but always dripping water, and the interior is haphazardly cleaned. Then there is the sit while the car goes thru the instant wash, them I get to vacuum and detail it myself. I looks way better then the car wash because I take time and have pride in my car. No time to take it to either type of wash...so I call Rad Mobile. Benjamin came the next day and took a good 2 hours. My short haired Boxer took a ride in it a few days before, so tiny little hairs all over. When he was finished I was AMAZED!!! My car was clean, it had a sparkle I had NEVER seen. My car hadn't been properly washed since the beginning of the pandemic, and after finally making room in the garage so I didn't have to park outside anymore, I figured it was time to do a full detail. I reached out through Yelp, got a quote fairly quickly, and after some messages back and forth, I was able to get scheduled in pretty short order. On the day of, I got a couple of texts letting me know updated timeframes, which was very helpful. When they arrived, we just confirmed that they were doing the full detail, and they got to work and I went back to work in the other room. They brought everything they needed, so I didn't need to provide anything from my side. The work looked great and the attention to detail was excellent. The drainage channels in my trunk and hood were extremely filthy from being outside, and now they're spotless. They even cleaned the struts holding both doors open, which was my sneaky internal check to see how detailed they would get. All the plastics were thoroughly cleaned, and even though I took almost everything out of my car, I could tell they still moved all the remaining small items in order to clean those spaces as well. I decided to give Raul another chance because I don't trust anyone else and I made the right decision! I got my ceramic coated Genesis clay barred and it's back to looking brand new. I thought the ceramic was wearing off but no it's just a bunch of dust caked on. I checked every inch and he didn't miss a spot. He also went beyond and cleaned the interior so it looks great inside and out!! I also asked for basic hand wash my Corolla, which he did an amazing job on it as well. I recently took it up to Mammoth lakes and back so it had bugs and dirt all over it but no more! Edit: yes, it is probably adhesive from the dealer. Also I would think the wash, clay bar, and polish would get rid of adhesive? You are correct that I did not opt for paint correction but adhisive is pretty much a contaminant which clay bar should pick up. I mean, I ran my finger over it and it came off which again makes me wonder the kind of attention to detail there was. Anyway, I can take care of adhesive. If you noticed the mark, it would be wise to let the customer know to prevent future misunderstandings. Made an appointment for ceramic coating and Raul and another gentleman came to do a ceramic coat on 7/15. They arrived and walked me through the process. They would wash the car interior and exterior, do a clay bar and polish to remove contaminants and light swirls. Then they would apply the ceramic coating on all the painted areas and the windows and the rims. I told them to not do the rims as they will be replaced. All good, I let them do their thing. All in all took about 4 and a half hours. Afterwards the car looked good, had some windows that weren't wiped down on the interior but not a big deal as I have microfiber towels to take care of the drip marks. The driver side handle cups still had the same light scratch which I though the polish would have helped but apparently didnt. Week after the ceramic coat (today 7/21) I take my car on a small road trip and when I come back home I do a quick once over with a damp microfiber cloth and a dry microfiber cloth to clean up any bugs and sap that were unfortunate enough to hit the windshield and grill. I check the top of my car and I see a long mark running parallel to the sunroof (Pics). Is it a scratch? I run my finger over it and it looks like adhesive residue. So now I'm thinking, if they really did a clay bar and polish, why is there adhisive residue on the top of the car? Makes me really question the attention to detail and what was really completed and if they did apply ceramic coating on the top. Rest of the car looks good but it's a brand new car. I guess only time will tell. read more
