Each season is beautifully done with festive displays, lights, and decorations that make you feel like you've stepped into a storybook. It's perfect for families, date nights, or even just a cozy night out with friends. The beer garden is a great touch for adults, while kids (and kids at heart) can enjoy hot cocoa and funnel cakes. Everything is thoughtfully laid out and keeps the energy fun and festive without feeling overwhelming. We also went down the Avalanche twice. Stringbean went three times. Gone are the years of seeing all of the Gingerbread Houses. Now, there are a lot of fundraising food/drink stands, I get it, it's an organization.

My daughter Emmy, who is 13 years old, just got connected with Positively Arts last month. Since…read morethen, she has been given so many amazing opportunities to grow as a musician in a positive environment! Once we had signed her up for a summer camp, it opened up the doors to so many other opportunities there that we did not know existed! She has had the opportunity to participate in a master class with musicians that perform at the Smith center, perform on stage with Loren Allred at the MGM Garden Arena, and also given opportunities to learn with many amazing musicians and local artists. Specifically, she loved Clint Holmes and his wife. She made a lot of amazing friends in one week of camp and is looking forward to continuing classes through Positively Arts! I have seen so much growth in her performance since she started, specifically that she is now singing with emotion and passion. We are forever grateful that we found this place to help her in grow in her musical journey!

I visited the Pearson Community Center for an event and was blown away by the beautiful mural…read moreinside the building. I didn't even get to take a photo of it because I didn't notice it when I first walked in - yes, it was as if I was a horse wearing blinders. Anyway, when I went to use their restroom was when I actually noticed the beautiful artwork. I asked the beautiful lady at the front desk if it was a local artist who painted the murals. She said it was an artist from Los Angeles named Mike Norice. If you Google-search Pearson Community Center + Mike Norice, you'll see a few videos on this place. It was breathtaking to say the least. Just absolutely beautiful the work he did, which is called "Unsung Pillars of the Westside". There were other works of art (mixed media) throughout the lobby from community members that I found to be beautiful as well. While I was inside one of the rooms, the place did feel a bit warm - to be fair, the weather was around 115°. Anyway, I enjoyed what I saw but wished it were a little cooler in the side rooms.
