Great place to donate goods to. They do amazing work in the community it's. And they're open and available on Saturdays to accept donations.

Each season is beautifully done with festive displays, lights, and decorations that make you feel like you've stepped into a storybook. There's so much to do for all ages...a charming train ride through the forest, a classic carousel, the fun Avalanche Slide, and endless photo opportunities everywhere you turn. It's perfect for families, date nights, or even just a cozy night out with friends. The beer garden is a great touch for adults, while kids (and kids at heart) can enjoy hot cocoa and funnel cakes. Everything is thoughtfully laid out and keeps the energy fun and festive without feeling overwhelming. What really makes this place special is knowing that your visit supports a great cause while creating lasting memories. The staff and volunteers are friendly, and you can tell a lot of heart goes into making this event magical every year. Highly recommend making this a seasonal tradition, it's pure joy, nostalgia, and holiday spirit all in one

As seen, in my Pics The Gift Shop's items' isn't priced too badly; there were some items that I was considering, but you know how it is, after the Holidays, your bank account is pretty lean; I have a lot of people to buy for, I've got a large family. There were five Grinch- themed trees. Many of the trees were decorated very nicely. It's a beautiful sight to see. We went on the Carousel, and we did two rounds of Mini-Golf, which was fun. We also went down the Avalanche twice. Stringbean went three times. Gone are the years of seeing all of the Gingerbread Houses. Now, there are a lot of fundraising food/drink stands, I get it, it's an organization.

Project 150 is doing far more than providing clothing, food, school supplies, hygiene products, and other essentials. They have created a model of service that protects the dignity of every young person who walks through their doors. That matters. What impressed me most is that this organization understands that real impact is not measured only by what is given, but by how people are treated. Every interaction reflects compassion, respect, and genuine care. It is clear that the mission is lived out by the people behind it, creating an environment where youth feel seen, valued, and supported rather than defined by their circumstances. If you are looking for a nonprofit to support, volunteer with, or partner alongside, I cannot recommend Project 150 enough. An investment here is an investment in the next generation. As someone who once needed the kind of support they provide, I know organizations like this can change the trajectory of a young person's life. Thank you, Project 150, for leading with both excellence and heart while giving our youth not only the resources they need, but the dignity and hope they deserve.

She has to be one of the most rude and disrespectful people that I have ever met. I spent 21 years in the Air Force and and still work for the gov and I pride myself in treating people with respect and understanding, and the way she acted towards myself and others at the Dress giveaway, just for walking down the incorrect hallway....she should not be in charge of any organization and I would be leary about donating to a person like that. All she had to do was explain the mistake/rules in a nice and respectful manner. I overheard others talking about the rudeness from her as well.

Their mission of putting books into the hands of children is truly transformative. As an author, it brings me so much joy to know a resource like this exists for our community. What stood out to me most was not only the mission, but the people behind it. Every interaction reflected kindness, professionalism, integrity, and genuine humanity. Thank you to Abby, the Volunteer Manager, for making the scheduling process effortless. Her communication, follow through, and leadership made me feel welcomed before I ever arrived. Thank you to Elisha, the Reception Intern, for your professionalism and excellent communication. Every question I had was answered with respect and clarity. What impressed me most was your integrity. When you did not know an answer, you did not pretend to. You checked with Abby and called me back with the correct information. That level of honesty and follow through is rare and deserves to be recognized. Thank you to Alex, the Volunteer Coordinator, for creating such a welcoming volunteer experience. Your leadership and organization made the day run smoothly, and it was clear that you truly value every volunteer who walks through your doors. Finally, I want to give special recognition to Robert, the Book Nook Coordinator. As a single mother carrying my daughter, I never had to ask for help. Robert immediately stepped in and carried my books to my car without hesitation. That simple act of kindness spoke volumes about his character. It reminded me that true service is often found in the smallest moments. Robert, your mother truly raised you well. Your compassion and humanity will stay with me. It is rare to find an organization where every person you encounter genuinely cares. From the first phone call to my first day volunteering, every member of the team reflected the heart of Spread the Word's mission. If you are looking for a place to make a real difference, look no further. Become a Book Buddy and help inspire the next generation of readers. Spread the Word has built more than a nonprofit.
