We also went down the Avalanche twice. Stringbean went three times. Gone are the years of seeing all of the Gingerbread Houses. Now, there are a lot of fundraising food/drink stands, I get it, it's an organization.

What a fun day cleaning books for kids! Our local work group, Southern Nevada CCIM, along with our…read moreoffice, NAI Excel, volunteered this afternoon. Our group (along with several volunteers from 3pm-5pm) cleaned 5,000 books! Spread the Word helps students with the gift of reading by providing much needed books at no cost to the readers and their families. The non-profit is always looking for gently used books, so if you have any to donate, please do. All ages are accepted because they have programs for other family members, too.
