Raffi has created an incredible outdoor work out facility (tonight at 7 it's belly dancing class) and a butterfly meditation room with real bufferflies to flutter about as you ground and clear those chakras. Across from Nobu it has views to die for as you are listening to the Moody blues sipping on wine and eating sushi. This place is heaven and all outdoors so covid friendly. Super Zen getaway as you watch the sunset. No charge for parking downstairs as you slip into this getaway from all the hustle and bustle. This is a great place to do a work out and grab a bungalow to do some work and make it a work station. It's an annual membership to take advantage of the gym and space outdoors. There is a beautiful view of the Malibu beach at the rooftop including a beautiful meditation room and a butterfly/caterpillar farm. From mediation and yoga to open air cycling classes with a view, this space also hosts a lot of events and pop up shop opportunities. This is my favorite place in Malibu. Rafi created an oasis right above Nobu and Soho, with exotic plants, healing crystals and even butterflies. I love the tai chi classes and the Reiki meditation with Karen. Also, Sunday qi gong and crystal Thursdays lunar experiences. There are many classes to choose from, and one can always benefit from Rafi's spiritual lectures. There are a lot of cool things happening there any day of the week. The fresh ocean air, the view, and the beautiful zen decor are all inviting and pampering. The Rafi Lounge markets itself as premiere wellness retreat in Malibu and offers memberships at $1000.00 a pop.   I  made a reservation and invited others. I am always open to any experience  that keeps me zen no matter the cost. Booking the reservation was my first sign of trouble. A incompetent  staff member named Elizabeth made  our reservation for dinner. Her tone didn't make me feel at ease . She seemed dazed so I call twice more during the week including  the day of the reservation to comfirm. All seem well and we were on our way. I arrive with high hopes. The location was beatiful, but what location in Malibu isnt. Elizabeth and her scatterbrained management ruin it. They informed us they  were having a special event and could not honor our reservation.  Elizabeth stated the reservation slip her mind . Membership being $1000.00 you would hope they would not  rely on the memory of half wits to coordinate their events and reservations but they do.  I pass on there offer of juice as compensation and wasnt even offered a verbal apology. The Rafi offers  wellness class but acquaintances tell me those are a bust also. This place lack luster  and  a capable staff. read more
