Rafi Lounge is my happy place! I love everything from the cycling, Booty burns, Zumba and dancing to the Tai Chi, yoga, meditation, QiGong and sound baths. It's my all around wellness center that has amazing events and a wonderful community of members! It's become my second home, I even work from there whenever I can. This beautiful oasis is the most wonderful place in LA if you're looking for a community of kind people interested in wellness, soundbaths, reiki, great workouts for all levels and an innovative ever changing menu. Rafi has created a truly zen community and is constantly adding to and changing up the offerings. It is just magical! Great place to workout or experience soundbaths and reiki then relax afterwards with a meal or just hanging with friends and members. Rafi has curated a truly special team, all instructors and staff are so incredibly nice. Niaz's soundbaths and Karen's reiki in the butterfly garden are both so powerful! Alonzo and Angel are always there for us, whatever is needed, such great guys. There's a hot IR room for workouts, mostly yoga with Rick who has an almost cult following at this point. Brooke Burke's booty burn classes in the hot IR room are an absolute must. Best instructor ever. Most classes are outside with the option of shade for those who want it. Working out with tons of vitamin d and an expansive view of the pacific ocean can't be beat. I can't say enough about this spot, it's like day camp for adults! read more

I've been here a couple times for events and have had a great experience every time! The food is great, the view is absolutely breathtaking and the staff is so kind and attentive. This is a hidden gem. Rafi is amazing and has created a space for people to do yoga, meditation, hang out and meet cool people. I just joined and I am excited to take the classes - there is a great variety and Brooke Burke does a weekly class which is super exciting. I am also doing a meditation with butterflies on Wed. One of my favorite places to chill out and eat. Try dragon sushi roll , it is very fresh and awesome. Also, they have sound bath on Sundays. Rafi is a nice and wise man, he gives you some tips about life, and you can do great meditation with him before sound bath. read more

I received a call from a friend letting me know that the owner of this place was in need of a decent manager to manage the place. I then spoke to the middle person who was helping Rafi find someone. She then made the link between him and me via a group text. I wrote to him letting him know I was interested in the position and when would be a good time to call. Not only did I not get a response, but the middle person also removed me from the group without any notice. I reached out to ask if he was no longer in need of a manager, and I got the following reply. He wants someone who doesn't have responsibilities, it will not work for you because you have a baby. Point to be made: The owner claims to have spent time as a Tai Chi & Kung fu monk at the Taoist Purple Cloud Monastery in Wudang Mountains, China, and later studied medical Qigong at the tradition medical university of Beijing. He also has over 40 years of experience in the arts Rafi brings a wealth of knowledge that embodies the power of the mind, body, and soul. If a person to work for this place can not have any other responsibility leads me to believe that he needs someone who breaths for this job. This contradicts the alignment of his mission - since balance and harmony come with tackling and serving all areas of our lives. Humanity exists because a mother gives birth to children into this world and for someone to discriminate a job to someone because she is a mother is just another corporate system trying to profit above all else. Where does the spiritual practice lie with such a judgment? If anything, neglecting a job for a person who has other responsibilities reduces humans to machines as a means to solely produce professional results. No wonder we live in a society full of people suffering from anxiety, depression, and lack of fulfillment. It's due to the lack of treatment and respect to the essence of being human such as this one. I decided to share this so people can have a glimpse of how mothers often don't receive the credit and respect one deserves, and this is a place that discriminates against mothers as a workplace. This place sounds to me as just another fancy place selling expensive membership to rich people and far from the mission of truly embodying humans as humans with the goal of providing them with better tools so the members navigate in a path of evolvement and the best version of themselves. Note: I never spoke to the owner, and since I was removed from the group text I didn't have his phone number to get a clear answer straight from him, but I still think this needs to be shared based on the treatment and reply I received. read more

Rude customer service, girl on the phone gave me attitude and asked me how I "even found this place" when it's listed as a bar on google maps and told me it's for "members only" and I can only get in if I know a member. Told me they don't serve alcohol but the yelp pictures display literal bars. Weird classist place for bored people if u ask me lol. read more
