I brought my Brompton Electric in for service after Brompton recommended warranty repair and Cycle Loft refused to do the work (under warranty) that Brompton had recommended on my 1 month old bicycle claiming that "Brompton doesn't know what they are talking about..." I had an equally disappointing interaction with a salesmen recently after I inquiring about purchasing another bicycle. I ended up buying my new bicycle online since I have had such a poor experience with the best "Gold" experience that brick and mortar has to offer Brompton Electric enthusiasts in the Burlington area.

He was able to quickly diagnose each bike's problem and miraculously fix all of our bikes. Since Shawn was able to repair all of the bikes, no new bikes needed to be purchased and this saved us $$$$. This is the first time we used Shawn and his mobile bike repair service and we will never go to a retail bike store for bike repairs again. Putting four bikes in a car would have been a huge hassle; requiring multiple trips to the bike store. Shawn did all of the repairs right on our driveway and the entire "experience" was flawless and much, much better than going to the bike store. Their pricing is probably higher or on par with other spots, but it's the price you pay for the level of focused customer service. With that said, a few notes to be aware of: - they do not carry Trek (space limitations) - it will take time. I figured we'd be in and out, but it's a smaller space so it takes a bit of patience to maneuver within - budget an hour or so if you have a confident rider and know what you want, more if tentative - the folks all seemed like they were working their darnedest to keep everyone happy and taken care of - you don't get that every where nowadays. There were 2-3 families each time we dropped by, so it's a hidden local gem. Help keep our communities local and visit spots like this instead of the big box retailers.

The Aventon bikes were in excellent condition and we had the chance to try a couple of different models. My friend and I came here on a Saturday morning. I didn't realize there were so many parking lots…read morearound, but we parked where the GPS took us. We walked a bit to the right and there were so many dogs - it must be an unofficial dog park, or happy hour for the dogs. They were all so cute. My friend had come before so he recommend we walk to Wright's Tower since it gives a vast view of the neighboring houses and landscape but also Boston in the far distance. It was a perfect hike of about 45 minutes there, and about an hour back since we did trailblaze a bit. We were following a GPS, but there are colors and signs periodically on the trees to guide you through the trails. I wouldn't say its too scenic, but it is relaxing and the terrain is perfect, with some spots being intermediate level but mostly all of it being beginner or easy. We did see some people on bikes, and others jogging. When we got to the tower, we went inside and climbed the stairs to the top. From there, you can look out in all directions to get some really nice views. It is worth the climb. We plan on eventually going back and trying longer or more challenging trails. But overall I think it's a gem that isn't too far from the city.
