I had such a great time at Rage Salon!! It was my first time ever going in and doing anything drastic to my hair. I got a spiral perm from Ash! She was the sweetest lady in the entire world. I had never met her before I walked into the salon, but it was as if I had known her for years. I was so nervous and was calling my mom every 2 minutes, but she was very patient with me and made me feel comfortable. The other girl that were working there were also so sweet and constantly talking to me to ease my worries. I had pin straight hair and now I have beautiful curls. I will definitely be going back to see Ash. Could not have asked for a better experience. In addition to everything he had already done for me, she stayed after the salon closed to make sure I knew how to take care of it and how to style it! EXTREMELY recommend if you are in Logan and you want your hair down right and some god conversation while you are there, go and see ASH!!

I see Carrie Baker here and she is so lovely and attentive! I don't know much about hair so I try to explain things the way I see them (aka not in proper terms) and she always understands exactly what I'm asking for and does it. The vibe at Rage is great, I really enjoy going there. read more

I called this morning and got an appointment for 2 o'clock for an acrylic fill. I've been getting my nails done for over 2 years and Berkeley is not one of, but THE BEST nail tech I have ever had. She's attentive, precise, and absolutely wonderful. As far as nails go they're very affordable especially for high quality. While I'm in Logan I will not be getting my nails done anywhere else! read more

I can't believe this place doesn't have any reviews on Yelp! THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! Katie did a fantastic job with my hair. She did exactly what I was looking for! Rikelle was so sweet and took her time with my pedicure and eyelash extensions! And Rhonda is the best nail technician I have ever been to! The day flew by with great conversation. Affordable, comfortable, and super fun ladies that did not seem annoyed what so ever (even though I was there all day getting a number of things done) Don't hesitate! Can't wait to go back! Although they were very helpful to get me in on a tight time table, and nice people, I paid $40 for a less than 30 minute, very minimal pedicure. As a nail tech who's owned her own business for 3.5 years, this is totally unacceptable service and WAY overpriced. I could've given myself a better pedicure and saved a bunch. read more

My self and my mother went in for two completely different things and honestly I'm so angry. I went in for highlights which is only half of your head and was charged $110, coming home I realized my $110 hair was blotchy uneven and fried. My hair doesn't fry easy I know because of how I take care of it and how I've had it done in the past. When I went in to complain and wanted it fixed Felicia wouldn't do it. Second my mother's story. My mother has thin eyebrows and went in to get them micro bladed by Suzy. My mother followed all the rules Suzy told her to do to keep her new micro bladed eyebrows in good safe condition. She payed $170 thank you Suzy because the stuff you apparently put on is now flaking off and there isn't a micro blade job. I'd just like everyone to know that Felicia and Suzy at rage do not know how to do they're job, and I'm curious if anyone there doIf you had a good time there good for you but I don't appreciate being taken advantage of. We work hard for our money and the fact that Suzy and Felicia are being paid to do this and when we come back with legitimate complaints they won't even help or compensate for that. If you love yourself don't go here and waste your money. read more

History

Established in 1980.

Following 25 years of serving Cache Valley in downtown Logan, UT, The Rage underwent an ownership change and major renovation during the summer of 2014. The salon added two pedicure stations, replaced the floor and paint while generally changing the entire salon to a fresh, new, professional beauty experience.

Meet the Business Owner: Larry H.

The Rage was acquired by Larry in June of 2014. His wife, Jolene, immediately set her decorating talents to work with a full beauty salon renovation. We also replaced outdated tanning beds. Larry has managed business operations across the United States for 25 years and is excited to spend his time now focusing on making the Rage the best beauty salon experience in the Cache Valley.

My experience started December 24th, 2020 at 10:33 a.m. . That's right, the day before Christmas. Apparently, the regular receptionist was not in. I had already checked to make sure that they were open, and it was apparent they were open as there were customers leaving as I walked in. I walked up to the register, and a lady who appeared to be in a very bad mood came up and asked how she could help me. I told her I would like to buy a gift certificate, and then she asked me how much. Before I could answer the amount I intended to spend, she asked me "how are you going to pay for this?". I informed her that I would like to pay with a credit card or my ATM. That's when she explained that she wasn't the normal cashier. I volunteered to drive to an ATM down the road to get the money for which she said "that would be very helpful". I drove up the road took out my money, came back and this time a different lady came to the register. I explained to her nicely and calmly that I would like to buy a gift certificate. This lady did not know how to process the order. I was not mad at her or rude. She simply walked to an adjacent office and explained to the lady inside that there was an order for a gift certificate, I could hear the lady say "is it that same guy?" The way she asked that question led me to believe that I somehow I had offended her. I was wearing a regular t-shirt and jogging pants, I had just showered within a half-hour, so I really can't think of anything that I said or did that would so offend her. I answered back nicely "yes, it's that same guy". I know that how I just typed that might have sounded like I was being sarcastic, but I was not. I actually said it in a friendly tone. The lady came out obviously not pleased once again, I explained that I would like to buy a gift certificate and that I have the cash this time. She asked me "how much". I told her $100. She said "fine" and took out a gift certificate wrote it out for $100. Right after I gave her the money it dawned on me to ask myself this question "why am I giving this person my money when they've treated me so poorly?" There are businesses struggling, there are people without jobs, and I just gave this lady who treated me so poorly $100. That was $100 for new business. That was $100 of total faith because I've never gone to your business before, but I simply went based on these Google reviews. Please know a lot of my Christmas day was ruined on the fact that I gave this person $100 for treating me so poorly. Once again I feel it very important to point out that this is not based on the services they provide. It's very possible that that $100 is well worth whatever service my wife chooses to use with her gift certificate. It's even possible that my wife might end up spending more money there because she may want to use more services. But there is a horrible taste in my mouth from the way that lady treated me. My wife will be going there sometime in January 2021. And afterward, I'm going to write an honest review of the services. I really hope that the service my wife receives will be considerably better than what I received. This is not a complaint about spending $100. Remember, I had planned to do that. This is a complaint about being treated extremely poorly. I also find it important to point out that the person that did this was not some young college kid that didn't know any better. A young college kid that didn't know any better, I would actually cut a little slack too They literally don't know any better. The lady that did this to me was older than me. I'm 54 years old. I know that I would never treat a customer, especially a new customer, especially during a pandemic when businesses are losing money, the way she treated me. Sorry to leave a negative review, but I really hope the person who did this (who might very well be a person in authority at the store), which is another reason to make me feel very nervous about this, gets called out on it. I also hope that she had a very bad Christmas, and I hope she has a very bad New year. The way she treats customers will probably make my wishes come true.

This place is right next to Angie's diner and the parking is located in the back. I called on Monday midday and had an appointment for a trim with Deyanira on Wednesday. After my trim and our conversation I decided to book another appointment to get some highlights to hide my grey/white. I was able to make an appointment for Friday and it was nothing but enjoyable. I LOVE my artist and she really listed to what I wanted and made it happen. The shop is nice as well and they have complementary water and coffee out in the open in front. She claims I was 15+ minutes late but I was not. In any case, she had time to do them, but refused stating she had another customer coming too soon. (She had always done my nails in slightly over an hour, she had time. And she never would've booked someone that quick after me, there wasn't time even if I was on time.) Plus, I rearranged my schedule, often last minute, for her trips and family stuff. This was 2 days before leaving for my 20th anniversary trip to Turks & Caicos, which she knew! No customer loyalty or consideration at all!

I've been getting my lash extensions done by Dana for almost a year now. She is awesome! I've always loved lash extensions but struggle with the cost because for whatever reason (with me) they never stay in long enough to really get a full two weeks out of them before a fill (at anyone I've gone to in the past). Danas prices are reasonable enough that I can afford to get them filled weekly. And she ordered special thinner lashes just for me so they are nice and long and full but don't look abnormally fake. That was very important to me as a middle aged client. Crazy big lashes don't fit my lifestyle. I get complimented on them frequently and when I tell them they are extensions people are surprised. Don't get me wrong. She can do big and crazy lashes too. They look great! ...Just not on me ...maybe for the holidays ;-). I've had her cut my hair too a few times (just a cut so far) and I've been happy every time. She's had lots of experience and is super knowledgeable. Highly recommend! read more

Dana is great! If you want an amazingly talented, considerate and personable stylist...look no further. I've always been picky with my hair (which means that I had a lot of questions before I dyed my hair for the first time ever) and Dana answers all my hair questions while she makes my lashes gorgeous. This is the only place that I will go tanning. The beds are great plus the staff is always so friendly when I go in. You can tell they really care about their customers. They have a radio in each room plus they have the protective eye wear waiting on the bed for you. I'll never tan anywhere else! read more
