The waiting area is clean, comfortable, and relaxing, which set the tone right away. Ruth was my massage therapist, and she truly exceeded my expectations. I asked for a deep tissue massage with extra focus on my shoulders, and she delivered exactly what I needed. She was attentive, checked in about the pressure, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire session. I left feeling so much better and will definitely be coming back. Pedis here may not be the most relaxing if you're pregnant. Booked two pedis and the girls were both so nice. However, the set up did not feel professional. I walked in and expected the standard nail salon recliners. Instead they were sofa chairs and you have to hold your feet up over the foot bath directly in front of the chair. For me it was okay, not super relaxing but not terrible, but I felt SO BAD for my sister. If you're pregnant, these chairs may be VERY UNCOMFORTABLE due to how close your knees are to your belly. The girl that did my nails did a good job, I just got a standard gel; single color. My sister got the same thing but her cuticles were so flooded she ended up going home and removing them. Again, super sweet girls but not all of them are giving $70 quality pedicures. read more

I was so grateful to book a same day appointment when I called inquiring about the spa services. The receptionist was friendly and helpful when deciding which massage I needed. The spa was clean with beautiful high ceilings and decor. I had a wonderful experience with my therapist, Ruth, during my deep tissue massage. The hot towels helped so much on my back & neck muscles! I just got a little chilly during that part of the massage. The evaporation chill was worth it for my neck muscles! The hot towel relaxed my neck enough to realign my upper neck vertebrae back into place. So much stress relief. I greatly appreciated the neck & back work to improve my trouble areas. read more

I really want to give this place and the girls there a good review, but I just can't. It's a nice salon, convenient, and really easy to get an appointment fast, which is why I kept going there and I wanted to give them a chance. I have seen two or three different stylists here for haircuts, all pleasant people, but I have had to get my cut fixed every single time. I have honestly spent more time and money paying someone else to fix their work and not even once have I left there happy with my hair. They get two stars for always being willing to squeeze me in to fix mistakes for no charge, but the last botched cut was the last straw for me and I just can't go back. I called TWO WEEKS AGO?because my mom was coming to visit from St. George so I scheduled us pedicures TWO WEEKS in advance.... I thought everything was good. So my mom and I show up at 10:55 5 minutes early for our 11 o'clock appointment and the receptionist tells us that there was an error with booking and they couldn't do our pedicures. (No notice, the salon didn't even try to contact me to tell me there was a problem!) All the receptionist said was "can we reschedule you for a different day?" No "I'm sorry for the inconvenience, can we give you a discount for your trouble" nada! I don't know that I believe that the people that didn't get asked to reschedule scheduled before me so why was I asked to reschedule?! I had that appointment for two weeks without the salon saying anything about a scheduling error. Also I'm pregnant and was planning on going back to k salon sometime in September for a prenatal massage but will no longer be doing that or ever setting foot in their salon ever again I'd rather take my business elsewhere read more

I had scheduled an appointment for me, my sister and my niece a couple of days prior. This was for three manis for the three of us and a pedi for me. When we arrived, my niece was told that they can't remove her acrylics, so she ended up having to watch her mom have her mani. My appointment was with Megan Whatcott, as we headed to the chair, she asked me if I had acrylics and I said no, I have SNS with gel on top. She didn't seem to want to believe me, she kept insisting that I had acrylics, which I've never had my entire life. As soon as she sat me, she foiled my nails and said "I have other appointments" and with the amount of time it will take, she said she wouldn't have time. Shortly afterwards, she left the room. When she returned, she came back with quite an attitude. She glared down at me and said "ok, I'm going to have to charge you, because this is going to take a lot if steps. I'll have to foil and file, foil and file, foil and file, foil and file" She repeated this at least four times as if it were my punishment or maybe even her punishment? There was a lot of anger in her voice and her body language was very aggressive, even to the point of throwing the foils angrily into the trash can behind her. At one point Megan said, as she glared and rolled her eyes at me again "You see, we aren't Nail Techs. We are aestheticians!" That's when I said, it's ok, I'm new to the area and I'm learning where to go and where not to go, and Foxy Nails is who did my nails last time so I'll just continue to go there. She looked up and agreed with me that I should continue to go to Foxy Nails instead. Even though she didn't actually say it in those exact words, just by simply agreeing that that's what I should do, told me everything. I started shaking inside and the only reason I didn't walk out was because I didn't want my sister and niece to feel uncomfortable, but they too could feel the tension in the room. You could cut it with a knife. Even my sister's nail person who had been having a friendly chatty conversation with my sister, went silent, my guess is that she too could feel the tension from Megan. When the other person finished my sister's nails, she walked over next to Megan and apologized to us that nobody had mentioned on the phone that KSalon doesn't have the tools to remove SNS, and she said she was sorry and that it's not our fault. I mentioned how unfortunate it was because 4 scheduled nail procedures is a big loss for their business as well as our time (as I too have owned several businesses). I thanked her and told her that I appreciated her for that comment, as she was much nicer and more considerate than Megan Whatcott. When my sister left, Megan felt a little stupid as she knows her colleague made her look bad, so she said "Are you sure you want to do this, I just want you to be happy" I said I haven't been unhappy, you are the one who came in here in a really bad mood and made it extremely awkward. She disagreed, and I insisted she absolutely was extremely moody and unfriendly and reminded her that it wasn't our fault that we were told they don't do this work. I've always been a big tipper and I left without tipping Megan. She didn't deserve a tip nor do I ever plan on returning or recommending KSalon to anyone, EVER! The sad part is, after all that, the following day, the gel on one nail chipped and others followed. read more

HORRIBLE, STAY AWAY!! Worst experience of my life here, left traumatized! Received a gift card here, got a massage and that was great. I used the rest to get my hair cut and colored. Went in for a consult, took forever. Then came back a few days later for my apt, stylist was 40 minutes late. The lady over processed my hair, half of it was bleached blonde with streaks of light brown she had missed. I went home and was so upset. I called to go back in to have her fix it. Stylist and manager were both extremely rude, and accused me of signing a waiver that my hair was damaged and wouldn't proceed with legal action against them. When I asked to see the paper work with my signature obviously they didn't have it, because I didn't sign anything. Stylist tried to fix it and made it worse. My hair turned grey, started falling out and I eventually had to cut it off and wait a month before anyone could fix the color. This was literally the worst experience I have ever had with any business. Not only was my hair permanently damaged they accused me of lying and the manager wouldn't help me, she was a real piece of work. I demanded my money back, but my hair was ruined!! read more

I expressed this to the lady making the appointment, and she recommended Stephanie. I'm so glad I called K Salon, because Stephanie did even a better job than anyone I've ever been to! She is professional, listens well, wonderful to converse with (three hours just flew by), she works quickly and with amazing skill. I had my hair highlighted and cut shorter above the shoulders. Kamber Stone has been my hairstylist for 10 years. When I go in I usually get a cut and color. Her precision cuts are the best and last longer than any other cuts I've had. I have fine, thin hair and she manages to give me the texture and volume I wasn't born with. I've also had a few Brazilian Blowouts on my hair which helps my hair hold a style a lot longer and gives it a brilliant shine that lasts up to 3 months. It's amazing. Kamber is an expert. read more

I've followed Michelle from salon to salon simply because she can work my hair like no one else can. She really knows how to give hair great shape (Mine is suuuper difficult cause it goes wavy every chance it gets, but she still manages to make it look fantastic). Plus, whenever I decide to dye my hair, I've NEVER come away from the salon disappointed. In fact, I frequently get compliments on both the dye job and the hair cut itself! The only reason why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is unbelievably difficult to get in to see her. I've had to schedule my cuts up to a few months in advance----kinda ridiculous, but since she only comes in a few times a week, understandable. (sigh) read more

I had a manicure at the salon as I have been going to salon to get my hair cut and colored. The experience was not good. The person who did my nails seemed inexperienced and timid. It was probably the worst manicure I have ever had. (I will not name the manicurist.) Other than that experience, I enjoy going to the K Salon. read more

I went to this spa last week to get a full set of eyelash extensions. I just love the environment - so tranquil and relaxing, just how you want a spa to feel!! My appointment was first thing in the morning (9:00 AM) and the technician was about 30 minutes late... which was a little frustrating but it happens and she did give me a discount for the inconvenience, which I really appreciated. She did a wonderful job, I have had eyelashes done at several other places in town and she is probably my new favorite tech but the reason for three stars instead of five was the price... The Spa's website says one price (which was why I choice this spa over others) and I was charged 50% higher than the list price without any warning!! Apparently this particular tech rents space from the spa and charges her own pricing - which I understand but that should have been communicated to me BEFORE my appointment! I have an appointment next week for a fill, but need to call and verify the pricing beforehand - which is annoying since they should have accurate pricing listed online. On a side note, I was very happy to learn they offer Brazilian Sugaring (the only place in town I have found to offer this service) so I am excited to try some of their other services as well. read more

The girl who did my eyebrows was very nice and apologized for getting wax in my hair, and they gave me a discount. She didn't seem very experienced, was probabaly the worst eyebrow waxing I've had. When I asked the girl at the front desk if anyone could help me get the wax out of my hair (like one of the many hairstylists there) without even looking said everyone was busy and sent me on my way with a large piece of wax in my hair. Peanut butter was suggested to help. I would NOT recommend getting your eyebrows done here, go to the benifit brow bar at Ulta instead... they are awesome. read more

Had a great experience at K Salon and Spa this weekend. They provided chocolate covered strawberries and snacks for our group. Their entire staff went out of their way to make sure we had an excellent experience. From Eric who made sure we always had snacks and drinks to Jessie and the other estheticians that gave fabulous procedures and asked after our comfort and needs throughout our spa day. It could not have been a better experience. I would recommend this spa to anyone; especially if you have a group, they were very accommodating. read more

I always go to K Salon and Spa for the spa pedicure. The tubs/chairs are super comfy and the products are rich and creamy, and smell fantastic. The staff greets you from the moment you arrive, and the therapists have always been friendly and competent. The therapists have also been great to work with my schedule and will go out of their way to make sure you can get an appointment at a time convenient. It cost a little more than other salons, but it is absolutely worth it! read more
