Enjoyed the moose burger and seafood chowder. Well cooked meal and friendly attentive service.

Ragged Rocks Gastropub really hit the spot. The lobster roll tasted fresh and came with a generous amount of lobster meat, including a claw on top. The accompanying salad was tasty and had just the right amount of dressing. I washed it all down with an Iceberg beer from Quidi Vidi Brewery. Service was friendly, although the restaurant can get quite busy. I'm looking forward to coming back. Cheers! read more

Great for a lunch while exploring Bonavista. Not busy, friendly and accommodating staff, and a selection of unique local fare. We had scallop toutons, perfectly cooked with massive scallops, and the moose burger, sufficiently enhanced with bacon to avoid the dryness that we'd read is all too common with just moose. Small outdoor area was pleasant, but no unfortunately no view. read more

Not the most vegetarian friendly - I got a salad that was a mix of various vegetables. It was good, but not very filling. For a gastropub, I would have liked to see more apps + shareables. read more

Website said open until 10 pm, door said open until 10 pm, Yelp said open until 11 pm. But at 9:05 pm they were closed and the door was locked. We rushed like crazy from a few hours away to get here in time without taking any breaks, and all for nothing. So irritating. read more

Food was excellent! Looks to be family owned, all working together. Sort of modern decor, very nice feel. I have to eat gluten free and they surprisingly had so many options. I had fried fresh cod and a Caesar salad. My husband had the "salmon bowl". read more

Stopped here for lunch and we are so glad we did. The food & drinks were so good. My husband had the fish and chips - and the cod was very fresh. I had the scallops touton and was really excited to try a local food. Can't beat fried dough especially if it's covered in maple syrup and bacon bits. I highly recommend the partridge berry sour drink as well. read more

Nice atmosphere, prompt and friendly service. Modern and tasteful decor. We shared a fish and chips which was a generous serving with a side of rock chips and gravy, all of which were tasty, hot and well prepared. I thought of getting the soup in addition but looking at the size of the dishes, thought that it would be too much. I wish there was an option to order smaller sizes of things for a lower price. read more
