We agreed on the things I wanted cleaned and the price to include baseboards, wipe down decorative items throughout, floors, ceiling fans, wooden furniture and outside of cupboards with Murphy's oil soap and furniture polish etc.. They said that they bring all the supplies. The day they came 2 women arrived, one who had been with the owner when we initially met and went over the job. We reviewed what they were going to be doing because they brought nothing on paper that we had discussed. When I reminded them about washing with Murphy's oil soap they said they didn't bring any, I said no problem I have it. A bit later I asked if they needed a stool for the fans and they said no they could reach...I am 5'6 and they were both shorter than me. How do you take the glass globes down to wash if you can't reach them. They don't. I then asked what they were wiping the decorative items with and they said they were just dusting them...I do that every week. The agreement was to wipe them with a cleaner. The next thing was that they were in the master bedroom for a total of 20 minutes and I asked if they did the baseboards and moved the furniture to clean under and they said they don't move furniture. I said how do you spring clean and wash baseboards if you don't move anything? All of the furniture is on coasters on wooden floors to slide easily. I then went and called the owner who I had met with. I told him my concerns and his response was that he was at work and didn't have any paperwork with him and he asked what we agreed to and I reminded him. He said they dont move furniture unless I pay more and I said we discussed all of that and that he agreed to baseboards and floors and how do you clean those without moving end tables, night stands etc..He had no explanation. He than asked how long had they been here because they needed to leave after 2 1/2 hours for their next job. He did not seem to care that they were not doing what I had hired his company to do. He said they needed to finish up. I said you planned on them spring cleaning 9 rooms in 2 1/2 hours? He asked if they washed the outside of my cupboards and I said they are doing them now. He said they needed to wrap up and I said they still had 3 rooms to do. He kept saying they need to get to the next job. He had no apology and no concern or regard for the job getting done right or that we agreed to. I walked out in the kitchen to see one of them wiping my ceramic floor with paper towel. No bucket, no water! I asked for a receipt and they told me they never give a receipt that no one ever asks for one but that they would tell the owner. They asked if I'd like him to bring it or mail it and I said to mail it, I never got one. After they left I checked the rooms and took pictures of areas they never touched and sent them to the owner. I still have the pictures and would share them. He never responded. No follow up. Basically, it's a joke they wanted 50.00 per hour per person to dust some but not all of the furniture, wash the outside of the cupboards and wash floors with papertowel. I would not recommend this company.

The expiernce with this particular company was the worst. First off, the price continued to rise and rise, even after me writing in what my expectations were on this site. Then, they did not even finish everything that we agreed to... like cleaning the windows on the INSIDE of the house. Afterwards, I reached back out to the company to provide feedback and all I heard were excuses. They also tried belittling me and insulted my intelligence. I am a mechanical engineer with a masters degree... I am not slow and I know when I do not get what I paid for. DO NOT hire them.

We have been homeowners for over 30 years and I have dealt numerouse contractors. The building of our recent 3 year old house was seamless. The house is white and therefore some maintenance is required we did not think about, which brings me to my power washing saga. I called four companies. I chose S&F because I felt a good rapport with them and liked seeing two young guys build a business. They were not the lowest. I have never power washed a house before, so I relied on the company to explain things in terms I could understand. I even saw on their quote something about stains may remain after. When I questioned that, I was told of an example where you removed shutters and there is discoloration. Made sense and felt confident that my three year old house would look brand new. Make sure if you decide to use these guys, that you understand what orgnanic and inorganic substances are and that you know what is on your house. After their treatment, my house was still left with a brownish colored staining. They told me it was from a water source that they could not identify and called it "rust". Again, not a science major, so my and my husbands first thoughts were that we had defective siding. Btw, there are sprinkler heads sticking out of the beds. I just assumed they considered that, my bad. The good news was it is just mineral deposits from the sprinkler heads and it could be removed. The bad news was, IT WAS NOT INCLUDED and would be an ADDITIONAL $250. After asking them to come complete the job with no additional fees, they said they "UNDERSTAND MY FRUSTRATION, but NO!" Incidentally, They have sent me 4 repeat invoices in the last 48 hrs and are threatening to put a lien on our house. The work was done 2 days ago.
