They came and measured but never said anything about needing a deposit at that time. We picked out the floor and dropped off the samples back to them and made our order and asked it they needed anything else. They said no. Talked to them in Sept 2018 before we left town to make sure they had everything they needed and was assured they didn't need anything. I called to set a date for laying the floor and was told that the flooring had not been ordered yet because of non payment. MY asking 3 times if anything else was needed and told NO now my kitchen is on hold till the flooring comes in which the dates have changed now 3 times. And still no reasonable date for installation. I have 20 guests from out of town coming for Thanksgiving to see my new kitchen. Since they made this mess no one seems to want to do anything to clean it up. Sunflower Carpet is not reliable to keep their word or do what they say. I would not recommend them for dog catcher.

This little toy store along the main downtown strip in Lindsborg is so charming and cute. I love…read morethat they carry a good selection of unique toys, especially wooden toys, and even some swedish offerings since it is in "Little Sweden USA"! If you come in here with a kiddo it will be hard to leave without buying anything so we, of course, picked up a small toy for our three year old and she was delighted. This is always a stop for us when we are in Lindsborg and I'm sure we'll be back soon!

DAV Thrift store was a great asset to our community and veterans, but the big wigs, who of course…read moredo not live in our community, and do not have a clue what the store meant for so many people, would rather shut the thrift store down permanently, and rent the building out to whoever and whatever business that wants to rent it. Ridiculous! The DAV store was doing better than ever since the new manager took over at the end of December 2025. The store was clean and organized and they made sure it smelled nice when you walked in with lovely freshly rotated wax pots....effort that made a huge difference. But since April the store has sat empty and closed as they're looking for some random business to move in and make they're own profit. AND THE VETERANS? THE EMPLOYEES WHO LOVED THEIR JOB? THE COMMUNITY? DAV nationals could care less.

It has an amazing history about it. The art throughout it is very impressive! Lester Raymer did almost every medium of art. My favorite "thing" about the museum though was the artist working in the back room, Shin-hee Chin. Shin is an amazing artist! She uses large thread on things like blankets, to create murals.
